Default Team for Wycombe

I'd swap Osborne and Wilson and if Weston is injured put Bostock on the left and Cleveland Taylor on the right.

..................Szczesny..............

Osborne.....Wilson.....Balkestein......Dickson

Taylor.......Bean.....O'Connor.......Bostock

..........MacDonald.......Strevens........

I would like to see Bostock play in the middle, just behind our front two.

Cort to make an appearance maybe if AS keeps Strevene fit for the FA cup?

AS will play his strongest team as Tuesday night's result is more important than next Saturday.

I'd go with this setup too if weston can't play.If Weston is fit though,i'd stop insulting the loanees and play them where they should be played.

My team if all are fit would be:

...................Szczesny.............

Osbourne....Wilson....Balkestein....Dickson

Taylor....... Bean........Bostock.....weston

...........MacDonald....Strevens

Personaly i dont think any of our 3 central midfieilders (Bean Koc Hunt) are good enough as we lose the midfield in nearly every game.Bean is probably the best of an iffy bunch though.

Agree with this although I would like to see Saunders or Bostock playing in the middle because are centre midfield is totally rubbish providing everyone is fit. P.S Andy please drop O'Connor and stick someone who is willing to get forward and play as an attacking midfielder

O'Connor is being asked to play defensive midfield role - and I believe he has been outstanding in recent matches. Its Bean who is meant to be the attacking midfielder
and I personally believe he is struggling - doesnt seem to have the time on the ball
he did last year and he needs to find an extra half yard from somewhere.
Bostock will certainly create for us but wont contribute too much defensively and in a team with two wingers (Weston & Taylor) who dont offer much defensively either
we need to start scoring two or three goals a game if we are to win too many matches.

Yeah Andy. Our superb defence has coped admirably with everything thrown at it all season. We don't need defensive midfielders getting in the way, covering for the wingers. Drop everyone.

GK: Bennett
RB: Taylor
LB: Bostock
CB: Strevens
CB: Kabba
LM: Weston
RM: Saunders
CM: Cort
CM: McCluskey
CF: Ademola
CF: MacDonald

I'll burn my season ticket if this isn't the team on Tuesday.

Totally spot on. KOC just does his job which is to sweep up and cover and then use the ball simply, it is Bean who is struggling to cope.

He is supposed to bomb forward and support the front 2 and make runs into the box as well as be a ballwinner in midfield.

A terribly hard role which he is struggling to cope with.

There is no U in Osborne. I'd stop insulting our own players by spelling their name correctly.

Hopefully Saunders can be back in the squad and can claim a place on the bench, i'd also prefer Cort to Kabba as a sub.

Szczesny
wilson, bennett, balkestein, dickson
bostock, bean, hunt, weston (taylor if weston is injured with bostock on left)
Cort strevens

moore, saunders, osborne, charlie, taylor, wood, foster.

i know he won't play this but i think hunt needs to start as KOC looked knackered on saturday and we missed Cort up front.

Sorry mate, but this is nonsense! Bean has been outstanding in recent weeks and KOC does a really important job for the team (see post on Millwall man-of-match). Of course it would be fun to play with a team full of play-makers and wingers, but trust me we would end up conceding a lot more goals than we scored. In short, keep Bostock and Taylor on the wings and the midfield the same

Cort is for Macdonald. Althought, if it isnt working then I would like to see Bostock given a go in the middle. He couldnt get into the game on Saturday, and without doubt if he is on the ball things will happen.

He'll play his strongest team, I agree.

But each game is important. Tuesdays is no more so, than the FA Cup game.
In fact, I would argue that the FA Cup game is more important for the club, bearing in mind the possible windfall, of a good 3rd round draw, if we beat Walsall.
Any points lost at Wycombe, can be regained in the 30-odd league games we have left this season.

Weird that after Saturday and Wison messing up for the equaliser in the centre half "area" - that so many people would switch Karleigh & Wilson. If Karleigh had made the same mistake he'd have been castigated. Whilst I don't doubt Wilson's has fantastic natural ability, from a defensive point of view I think Karleigh is *currently* a better option through the middle.
