Welcome Farid, really hope you can be our next goal machine.

I think the club will miss a trick if it doesn't sell some fist sized replica coins. Bees badge on 1 side and a picture of Farid on the other. Good little earner for the club (especially if he scores loads and we sell loads of coins) but also can boost the rapport between the fans and the squad and improve the atmosphere around GP in the same way Owusu's “Raise the Roof” used to. Putting a bit of the limelight on Farid may also take the weight of Donaldsons shoulders and allow him to shine.

You'll be ever so pleased you signed Farid. Even more pleased when you've sampled a Smiffy Burgher.

27 years old I see, so this guy is more of a "finished article" than a "rough diamond", hope he finds his shooting boots early on.

What I've already said and remains my main thought on this is...

watching him and Donaldson up front next season will be either really exciting or really frustrating...
thta's if we do play the 2 together.

Sitting here in sunny Corfu round the pool with a cold Mythos, just got talking to a Falkirk supporter (didn't know there was any) he is fuming that he's gone, he said we will have a very good player who should fit in well and score goals, sounds a good bet for us, Oh well back to the pool!!!

Getting there in terms of personel for the new season....mid-field's looking good, defence might need one ot two extra, strikers one more. A month and a half to go, not looking that bad...

Hopefully he'll do the business, but I wouldn't expect him to bang them in on a regular basis right from the off (adjustments to the league ect, new environments) so I hope that expectation isn't thrust upon him too much. Not a bad signing though, if we can't afford the better known hitters in England than going for more obscure players with potential is a good way to go forward.

    Welcome aboard though!

Come across well in the interview - likes to 'have a war everyday with defenders'.

    Chant/song lyrics?

Bit of a challenge finding rhymes with either Farid or el-ah-la-gooey.
