Caulker any relation to the Tottenham player
Apparently less than 100 fans in the ground...
No sign of the trialists that played the second half against Hampton... Thought some of them looked alright...
DVT in the Ealing Road
The lad from Rangers, Robinson?
2-0 Hitchin. Good going lads![]()

should of sent the under 16's![]()
Not long been back from the game. Must say I was completely underwhelmed,it was men versus boys.
Mawson & Oyeleke were quite good. The ground was bloody awful it should be condemmed.
Men versus boys was exactly it. None of our outfield players looked more than 18 and they played like a youth team - too many touches, too many fouls but lots of pace and raw skill. From tonight's performance wouldn't want any of them near the first team. Still, development by name and development by nature. Hitchin are not much cop but they aren't mugs - some very experienced players and they contained the kids well. Don't think we had a single serious threat on goal. Hope the kids learnt something.
But letchbee please don't condemn the ground - there's a local campaign to stop developers grabbing it and destroying a club that is some years older than BFC.

Sorry Hitchinb, I know some of the history of Hitchin Town and I didn't mean to be critical but the whole place has been left to go to pieces. It would take a lot of money to get it up to scratch and that doesn't seem forthcoming.
As for as the Bees team last night, yes we did have some good players out there but they were over powered by a hustling big Hitchin team.
Good experience for them and I agree I hope they gain from it.
How did Gounet look?

Hardly had a shot to save so bit hard to judge. Scarcely moved for the goal Hitchin scored direct from a free kick but may have been unsighted by the wall. Second goal was a free header from the near post off a corner. Poor defending, not sure keeper could have been expected to get it. Slightly concerned about how casual he was about dealing with oncoming attackers when dealing with backpasses. Distribution looks ok although quite a few short roll outs.
You know what they say !
Breeze might be a breath of fresh air for Rosler's squad![]()
