Kevin for me. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't surprised to see him start at RB today, but to his credit he defended excellently, used the ball well and actually got forward more than most with a couple of great overlapping runs. A very accomplished performance and he'll be wondering who else was meant to be covering after seeing his great block divert straight to a Walsall player without another Bees player within fifteen yards of him.

Honorable mention too to Simon Moore who pulled over several excellent saves in the first half.

    Spot on.

Also good performances from Toumani and especially Forshaw

Agree with the above. Kev played very well always linking the attack well and defensively sound. As mentioned Forshaw was different class and think he could have a great season. Him and Dave worked brilliantly together 2nd half exactly wot we had been missing.. felt harlee looked to bring the ball out of the back well and also felt Sam Saunders was with Kevin the bees best player in first half. The lad from spurs was shocking 2nd half hope he doesn't feature too regularly this season.

King Kev showed us why he'll be playing a lot of games this season.. Fantastic performance and that block that led to their goal was sensational, just a shame nobody else could be arsed to get over to him. The only one that played with real passion.

Kev, for his overall contribution: great defending block while everyone else stood still; a couple of decent attacking runs and crosses, totally wasted; a header from a corner that went over the bar; and controlled frustration at players around him. If Foreshaw had been on longer, he'd have got it, though, and Dean actually looked like he wanted to win.

Forshaw for me , the boy is class. KOC did well but nothing to have one of the cuff for like most people do about him.....if he was that good he wouldn't be playing for us , reminds me of Booker in a way always gives 100 percent and very loyal.

If any of our players were "that good" consistently, they wouldn't be playing for us.

You know exactly what I meant.....don't understand this Superhero status for such an average player....but then again it is Brentford and we always settle for mediocrity

If you don't rate him that's fine but this is the Walsall MOTM Thread which KOC is winning, quite comfortably in fact. This isn't the thread to be criticising his ability IMO.

What does Johnny Douglas use as his username on here, 1 vote for that "Chuck Norris - Missing in Action" performance!
Vote BLUNSTONE - maybe out of touch but closer than what we already have.
