I can't believe there's even a debate. If Bidwell's fit, he has to play.
"Don't act like you're not impressed...."
I think that is the majority opinion however, there are 1 or 2 die hards who feel Barron needs to be given further chances to prove himself at whatever cost, or that because he has played Championship football he must be good, or they just plainly feel sorry for him. Like you I believe its a no brainer.
It was just one of those things....
I hope and suspect you're right as Jake was exceptional after MK game until end of the season and sure will be a great supply for El Alaqui. However, to date Uwes' track record of signings has been good and if he gets it wrong he quickly addresses so prepared to give Barron time. In fact, I'll even wave to him as he takes his place in the dug out tomorrow.
Probably right. I've already said I don't go much on Barron so far, but those saying he needs more time are right. At the end of it, he's a permanent signing & Bidwell is with us for a month as things stand - Uwe hasn't signed him for the development squad for a year. Won't do any good to hammer Barron's confidence this early in the season, particularly if Bidwell is called back. I think they will both have a role to play, although I can't see Uwe casting him aside this early. Barron's got to improve and I'm sure some stiff competition for a LB place will help that. Idealy scenario is that Bidwell's load is extended for the whole season and Barron might be used in games where their attackers aren't too pacy and he can afford to get forward a bit.
Nothing like giving a player more than a couple of games before forming an opinion.
I've been fairly horrified over the past two home games but would like the bloke to come good.
Beesotted with Brentford...

Very true. I hope that bidwell starts tomorrow but let's a least give the poor bloke a chance. By the reaction on here it just shows that things are going well. Some people just need something to moan about!
Let's hope in a months time the popular moan will be about not getting served quick enough at half time.
See you at Walsall.
I rather hope Bidwell plays at left midfield - that way he'll be able to get his crosses in..........and he'll give Scotty the cover he didn't get last Saturday.
OK so how many games do we give him? It wouldn't be a problem if he was just alright, we could put up with that. The trouble is he has been awful and if we really want to make a challenge then we cannot afford the luxury of playing with a liability at LB. Let him try to find his feet in the JPT by all means but not in the league, at least until he seems to have regained whatever sort of form it was that led to us giving him a contract in the first place.
Some extreme over-reaction on here.
Barron hasn't had the greatest of starts but reading some of the posts on here you would think we had signed Les Strong at the age of 59. It is far far too early for anyone to be writing Barron off in the way some of the posts above do. Despite what we read on Millwall message boards, Kenny Jackett is no managerial mug and saw fit to play him quite a few times over the last few seasons. I think some of you are being more than a tad unfair on Barron .
That said, I am a big fan of Bidwell and hope he starts tomorrow............![]()
Not in the inner circle so can only give opinion not fact.

...........looks a player short on confidence at the moment...........
Thought he looked a bit better than in the 2 home games, but Bidwell looked much better and must start
