    Team vs Walsall

    Moore
    Logan Dean Craig Bidwell
    O'Connor
    Douglas Forshaw
    Saunders
    El Alagui Donaldson

Subs: Lee, Legge, Barron, Diagouraga, Dallas, Saunders, Hayes.

Bidwell in for Barron. Forshaw (if fit) in for Diagouraga. Saunders just about warrants keeping his place, though would be tempted to start Forrester or even move Forshaw forward to make room for Dave. Definitely not a midfield diamond that includes both Forrester AND Saunders at an away game though.

Need 3 points to keep up momentum and if that XI can't beat Walsall at the second bite, we may have problems. But I think (hope) it should be comfortable.

That team looks about right, Saunders starting and on the bench? Think this bidwe news is getting to everyone! Would like to see Hayes starting a game, he looked amazing on Saturday!

I like the look of Hayes a lot, but would you drop either Clayton or Farid after Saturday ?

    Are you Uwe? The 'tinkerman'!

    Why change a winning side?

Keep the same starting XI as we had v Crewe.

Add Bidwell and Forshaw to the bench instead of Redwood and Fredericks.

Although I can see Bidwell starting in place of Barron.

    Why change it? Why?

I may not change anything else but I'd have Bidwell in the team immediately.

Magnificent though Saturday's win was, the back 4 did look very shaky at times. I was not alone when the score was 3:1 in worrying that 3:3 was a distinct possibility. For that reason I am happy for Uwe to tinker, particularly having got Jake Bidwell in - let's make use of him.

Thank god the 7 sub rule has been brought back otherwise they'd be a lot of good but very unhappy players right now!

Obviously the same team bar injury with Bidwell replacing Barron being the exception to the rule.
Far too old for a mid-life crsis

    ^^^ This please.

Bit harsh to drop either Douglas or Toumani after Saturday, so I'd start them and have (a hopefully fit) Forshaw breathing down their necks on the bench should either of them underperform.

Looks good except replace Reeves or maybe Forshaw (if he is injured) with Adeyemi.
It was just one of those things....

I'd agree with that. Definitely no need to change the midfield after Saturday, but Bidwell to come in.

Bidwell has to come in, Barron benched. Forshaw returning from a knock can wait this one out on the bench and come on in the second half along with Hayes. Hopefully soon we get to see Forrester start a game over Saunders, no reason to do that now though.

Don't change a winning side. Interestingly, the squad now has so much strength in depth, we are spoiled for choice. Do not underestimate Walsall-they turned over Notts County away and deservedly so.

Bidwell straight in for barron, Dave deserves to keep his place after Saturday so Forshaw only on bench, Forrester in for Saunders, tough on Sam as he's done ok in his new role but just feel Forrester is the future.

I'd go back to having experience in the goal, especially if we want to start getting the points to worry the worry league, so Lee in goal. Defence near unchanged, Bidwell for Barron. Leave midfield alone, or maybe the only change being Saunders with Forshaw. Attack stays same.

    So..

    Lee
    Logan Craig Dean Bidwell
    KOC
    Dave Douglas
    Forshaw/Saunders (pick one)
    FAE Donaldson.

Forrester to remain on bench, unfortunately.. as much as he IS the future he needs to, when brought on, show to Uwe that he is better than the experienced Saunders, and make it his own. Saunders showed last season he is a tough player to overthrow, not so much this season, and can only blame himself when he does.. so needs to step up. Forshaw, however, I see as a more potent attacking midfielder and willing to shoot on sight when giving chance...

    On the bench I'd have

Lee, Barron, Legge, Dallas, Forshaw, Forrester and Hayes

Leaving out Adeyemi, Oyeleke Reeves, Gounet and Fredericks

Always a good strategy to start with 10 players

Bidwell and Lee should be the only changes for Walsall. Moore and Barron were the only players that gave any cause for concern against Crewe.
