makes it all very interesting indeed
Is it me or are there fewer and fewer posters these days?
Sounds good: consistent performer for Oldham who makes good forward bursts.
It just keeps getting better. Coral make us16-1 to win the league. Could look like a bargain in a months time!
Don't know anything about the bloke but was just thinking after the excellent news about Bidwell that Centre Mid was maybe the one position where we needed another option -hopefully this is it and we now have a serious squad in this division.
Maybe one more forward option short but let's not be greedy .
welcome. i am sure a good signing.
i do feel for reeve (who is a great talent) and our youngsters though. what future do they have?

Reeves could benefit from regular football on a loan deal. Personally I'm happy with competition for places.
Beesotted with Brentford...

A very good day indeed all round, but I don't think that Jeffrey Schlupp is needed now, why has no one else gone in for him? it would be a step backwards IMHO, He's done virtually nothing since he left us, and we now have 3 proven forwards, 4 if you count Dallas, plus development squad players, and the 7 man sub rule, we are now looking at a squad of players that will be fighting for places that could do the job, it could indeed be exciting times ahead, all credit to the management for the wheeling and dealing they have done without letting the cat out of the bag, it goes to show that silence really is golden.
So happy with the transfer dealing over the last 10 days, we have a good additional Striker, an extra central midfielder and a Very good Left back, no excuses now.
FFS....2 signings in one day.....somebody get a grip.....ok........
Better to bee a lion for a day......than a sheep for a thousand years......
Welcome Tom- great competition, hopefully, to keep Dave and Douglas on their toes!
...............welcome aboard Tom..............
Tom Adeyemi.
First of all, there's definitely a footballer in there. He does have ability and I think he'll play at a higher level than League One.
And yes, he is the lad who accused a Koppite of making a racist comment to him during the FA Cup game at Anfield in January. Charges dropped due to insufficient evidence. He did a cracking job as a makeshift right back that night but he played just about every other game as a central midfielder.
He can get stuck in. He can hit a decent shot. He was the only Oldham midfielder to actually get into the opposition penalty area and score a goal last season. On the telly box against MK Dons if you can find it on google somewhere.
But he became known as Tom Anonymous for his ability to disappear. There were games where you simply didn't know he'd been on the pitch. When, through injuries, he became the senior partner in the middle he failed to step up and impose himself on the opposition.
In fairness, that's common in just about any 19 year old in the middle of the park. The good games are usually outnumbered by the nothing games.
A year older and 30+ games under his belt at this level and I think he'll be stronger. You've got yourself a decent player.
See you on the 22nd September. After an excellent 30 minutes against Sheffield Wednesday we've now lost 4 in a row and look unlikely to create the chance of a goal, let alone score one. It will be interesting to see if Dickov is still manager in three and a half weeks - his early promise long since consigned to history.
