I think Douglas could do with a rest...
Updated Jetsonics website www.thejetsonics.com
He had one at Walsall.
There is no chance of Harry starting IMO, I would join the ranks of people wanting this but Saunders had 3 shockers followed by a decent shift v Crewe and a not so shocking display at Walsall, if he was going to bench him, he'd have done after those first 3 games, wouldn't he?

Re Saunders ...Depends on what you term 'not so shocking' as being. He's been every bit as inconsistant as Douglas and arguably less effective yet both seem to be nailed on choices.
Harry looked sharp pre season and has been given limited opportunities which is a shame as with you and a majority of GPGers see an exciting talent that needs to be given some game time to fulfil that promise.
He wasn't awful at Walsall, he hasn't hit the heights of last year or been anywhere near them, he "crossed" the ball for Farid to head the ball for CD's equaliser, he had a decent volley cleared off the line amongst other things. That ending probably saved Uwe some hard decisons on CD, Douglas and Saunders.

People seriously think that CD will be dropped?? As much as Uwe said the forwards didn't stick to the plan, I'd be amazed if CD (4 goals in 3 games) will be dropped.
I can see Hayes coming in for Saunders and Bidwell for Barron. I'd like to see Forrester given a chance but cannot see it. Plus, Moore hasn't done anything wrong either to deserve to be dropped, Lee will have to bide his time, as he did with Hamer.
When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have a 1000 reasons to smile
So do I and I know why.
He gives the appearance of being nervous and the defence appear to have less confidence in him than Lee.
Also, his punching and kicking when under pressure are very worrying.
Finally, he does not come for crosses - even those on the 6 yard box, if there are opponents around.
Nice bloke for all that, but Richard Lee should be Number One.

dont know about the team but if the season so far is anything to go by I predict a 10/10 draw with us scoring our 10th in the 98th min.....................![]()
True but shot stopping is only one aspect of keeping (admittedly vital). Communication, command of your box, distribution are also important considerations and in what appears to be a very 'transitional' period for our defence it perhaps makes sense to recall a more experienced and claming influence in Richard Lee. Moore hasn't been individually culpable for any of the defensive howlers we've seen to this point but the feeling persists that we may be a tighter defensive unit with Lee in goal. To be honest it's arguable either way and the keeper is the least of Rosler's team selection conundrums at the moment.

I'd go for the same team as Crewe (and Walsall), except Bidwell in for Barron. No need for any knee-jerk reactions or wholesale changes - we completely dominated Crewe and the same players should be able to do the same against Colchester. I'm also not completely keen on the diamond being used away from home (4-4-1-1 always worked better away last season, and allowed both Saunders and Forrester to be accommodated), so it's best to base the choice for this game on the Crewe match rather than Walsall.
We didn't start that well against Walsall in the first 10-15 minutes (when Moore had to make that top-drawer save), but were on top when Walsall scored and if it hadn't been for the defensive error in the corner from Saunders, I think we would eventually have worn them down and got at least one goal. The main problems appear to be in defence, with Craig not completely convincing as yet and Barron seemingly losing his place already. If we can ensure that we are solid at the back (and in midfield), we should be able to grind out victories (remember Spain vs Croatia in Euro 2012).
Defensive errors aside, the main problem against Walsall was that we collapsed and stopped playing properly after we conceded the first goal, and it took until the last 20 minutes or so for us really to threaten. If we concede the first goal in a game, it's vital that we start responding better - I can't believe it's been nearly 2 years since we won from a losing position!
With this in mind I'd keep the same team, except Bidwell in. We saw how well the midfield can work against Crewe. O'Connor is crucial sitting in front of the defence, and Diagouraga is our only real ball-winning midfielder. Douglas hasn't really played well enough so far this season, and needs to improve quickly, but I'd keep him in for now based on Crewe game and last season's form.
Saunders should be under pressure for his place from Forrester, but we don't need to swap the two yet IMO. Unfortunately we've only won 1 match when Forshaw has started (and I thought his performance against Yeovil was slightly over-hyped as he lacked end-product and was often too ambitious with his passing), but I thought he had his best game for us when he came on at Walsall. It was a much more disciplined performance - he seemed to play more for the team, mixed his passing up better and wasn't shooting from distance just for the sake of it. For now I'd still keep the Crewe midfield together though.
If we can cut out the defensive errors, the solidity and experience of Diagouraga, O'Connor and Douglas should allow us to win the midfield battle and give us the best chance of going ahead in games. If we're struggling to find the break-through, then we can make attacking changes and bring on the likes of Forshaw, Forrester and Adeyemi.
So I'd go for: Moore; Logan, Dean, Craig, Bidwell; Diagouraga, O'Connor, Douglas; Saunders; El-Alagui, Donaldson
Subs: Lee, Legge, Barron, Adeyemi, Forshaw, Forrester, Hayes
