fail to understand how Lee isn't playing. It's not just about saves. It's about sorting the back 4 during the game, something Lee has immeasurable more experience in doing.

I didn't hear one shout from Moore v Yeovil, and as decent a start to the season as he has had, he's not the most vocal. Keepers, these days, need to be such.

Would say 99% want Harry to start, if he keeps getting overlooked how long will he put up with it?

As much as I'm not disagreeing with him being overlooked... how many times did Sam Saunders get overlooked before getting his chance?? Patience is key, taking the chance is paramount...

Just pick your BEST players Uwe

Easier said than done. Barring one or two, virtually every member of the squad could be considered worth a starting spot in terms of ability IMO.

Yep, long time since we've been able to say that

    kev legge dean bidwell

    logan forshaw dave forrester

    donaldson

    el alagui

Subs lee craig douglas Adyemi dallas saunders hayes

imho we need width and crosses. The wide players can overlap and cover each other and Farid can get on the end of the crosses. Donaldson can feed off farids knockdowns, run at them from deep and also do some closing down to help the center mid area.

I expect Bean will want to prove Uwe wrong and work his nuts off so forshaw and dave will have to work hard to combat that and i see them covering more ground than Douglas who i personaly think needs a game or 2 on the bench to let him know that he isn't an insta pick and likewise Saunders needs a little kick up the ... so a weekend sulking on the bench might do him some good.

I go for Moore bcos he hasnt done anything wrong and with a more confident back four infront of him i think he's fine.

Subs are a tough choice bcos we really do have some talent.Id like to see dallas get on if things are going well and replace kev for him with logan dropping back into rb and donaldson could move over to the rw if forrester starts to tire and hayes coming on into to take up the hole role from Donaldson.

So you'd rather swap the league's top goalscorer with someone that hasn't scored yet this season?

I think you need - one needs - to take a longer-term view. It is my view that CD was a little out of his depth last season (Peter principle etc) and yes i know he has got 4 in 4 so far, and it would be brilliant if he could maintain that sort of form, but having spent an entire season watching him stumble, miss, be in the wrong place etc, i am wary that this might have just been a few lucky shots. Time will tell on that one, but Hayes to me seems much more eager and agressive, and i think a run in the side, particularly alongside Farid, will see that enery convert into a lot of goals.

Why would you swap Donaldson for Hayes? So what if he didn't score as many last season, his partnership with Farid looks great, and Hayes looks like a massive impact when he's subbed on! We've been waiting ages to see this in donaldson...

Long term you may be right but how can CD maintain his scoring form if he's not picked this week?

If based on last week alone, presumably you thought Adeyemi looked particularly good warming up on the touchline?

I'm sure he does pick what he considers to be his best players. It's all subjective. He won't ditch Saunders yet and I think that's right at this stage. If he doesn't perform, expect him to be subbed on 60 mins. I expect only 2 changes, Forshaw for Dave and Bidwell for Barron. However,I wouldn't be surprised if Adeyemi replaces Kev at some stage if we are winning.

I forecast the same changes and agree with your rationale although if absolutely honest I think that Sam is a very lucky boy.
He gave away the first and his deadball delivery was dire which is usually his get out of jail card when he's not on his game. Really good that assuming your changes correct we've got Harry F, Tom A and Dave waiting to come on if the midfield isn't delivering.
