Yeah. That is him. Bad times yet another massive face you just take for granted. RIP Tony Ross.

Top bloke had a good laugh with him on serveral away games on the piss RIP
GPG spellingbee champion 2005-2012...........
RIP
Yep, that's 'Rossy', in the front and loudest!! A proud supporter of Brentford FC.
Some may have found him loud or rude (at times quite offensive!) or just plain mad!! (as Leah used to say..."mad Tony"... ) He was himself and a lovely fella, when you got him to talk properly without any jokes in between, going to miss the man at GP and on trips to far off places like Darlo, York or closer ones like Southampton. I don't think we'll see another 'tan man' again. A one off.

Bloody hell, haven't seen that video before. I am the **** right near the start with the top off. A great day for all bees  he looks like he was un angry! :)
COME ON YOU BEES!
Think i know this man . Couple of incidents spring to mind at Luton and Orient .One chat i had with him was at Liverpool Street i think .Seemed a decent chap .RIP
Wasn't sure but now I've seen the picture.
Spoke with him on numerous occasions, very sad news RIP Tony
He's a guy will never forget.
Tony 'leave one up' Ross
I recognise him now....will be sadly missed. RIP
Appreciate the photo and video. I know who we are talking about now. Very sad.
Every day I think of my Lauren.
thanks for the picture.i did not know Tony personally but as a home and away supporter of the same age as Tony he is instantly recognisable as a character seen at matches covering the forty years i being watching the bees. All teams have supporters who care with a passion about their club.Tony was obviously one of ours. The anecdotes already posted have made me smile and will be bring some comfort to Tonys family.
Sad news indeed. a True Bee.
I have a very vague memory (aided by an elder Bee) of playing in a Brentford Athletic training/ friendly game as a precious teenager making up the numbers, hearing an emphatic "PASS THE *****G BALL!!" (followed with a "well done son" to unmistakably couch what was otherwise a fairly hard-hitting piece of advise) and it was that day, it seemed, I crossed the threshold from boyhood to manhood. It was my wake-up call and a (well intentioned) nugget of wisdom .. that moment has actually stayed with me since (especially when, recently, I found myself saying exactly the same thing recently, albeit less directly, to a team-mate's son who, like me, then, believed they could take on the world.
TR will live long in the nostalgic etchings of West London Sunday League football and Brentford fan culture; if there was a book of anecdotes of such, circa late 70's-80s (?), I'm sure Tony would certainly be in it.
I'm sure there are certain personnel here who could further the thread of wonderful Sunday League anecdotes!

I thought I knew Tony, now the pictures confirm it. A great character. I'm sure he used to stand with the guy who had all the badges on his long red and white scarf. Stood next to them for a few seasons. Gave him a hug a few times when an important goal went in. Remember getting a Brentford book of the 80's Flyer off of him. So sad. My condolences to his family and friends. RIP Tony.
Nobody could forget his Norman Wisdom impersonation
After seeing the picture was in shock, never knew his name or was told and forgot it (drink) but a lovely bloke who always had a word to me and my nephew whenever we met... A true gentleman and whose love for the Bees knew no bounds. RIP Tony.
'I would not be bothered if we lost every game as long as we won the league'. Mark Viduka
Now that has really brought a tear to my eye, but thank you, China Bee...
Great memories on here, of this outrageous, but lovable, character.
And, as nightfly has said, Tony was rather 'emphatic' with his views!
Indeed, the anecdotes could probably fill a book...
It really is so hard to accept that he is no longer with us.
Sincere condolences to his family and friends. Like many others who travelled with the Bees, he was one of the characters and always would exchange words (some very ripe!) and dispense advice whenever I encountered him. He will be missed.
When the wind of change blows some build walls, others build windmills...
While he was manager of Brentford Athletic (before mobiles) I didn't turn up one Sunday morning, I got the full 'hair dryer' down the phone from Mr Very Angry at about six sunday evening, didn't miss another game that season.
Had Mr Angry down as someone else in my mind, but seeing the picture i recognise tony ross from many bfc games home and away, never spoke to him as i tend to keep myself to myself but very sad news, rip.
Brentford ARE Back
Having seen that picture I now know who he is.
This is truly shocking news.
RIP mate.
Always had a chat with him in the programme shop at half and full time on my visits to GP.
