I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
The Doom and Gloom Brigade lost again.![]()
It was totally depressing reading the update thread. Constant moaning.
I don't know why most of you bother going if everything is so crap.

A point away to the league leaders, form side in the league who appeared to be scoring goals for fun. We have gone up there and taking something away from Prenton Park for the first team this season. Good stuff if you ask me but what do I know?![]()

Twitter was equally depressing...had to go there as all the live feeds appeared to die! Constant moaning, questioning selection and shouting for a new manager. Some people have not been following this club long enough to know when times are good or otherwise! Get your heads up and support the team and manager...this is our season!

Am I going mad or do all the main sites, sky, BBC etc have the wrong league table? Says we've played 10 and have 14 points, I believe we've only played 9, as have everyone else, even ours and others websites say played 10! Confused!!
I just don't bother with the update thread anymore. Most of them are like a bunch of girls. Would rather listen to the lucid tones of Billy Reeves,Markybee,WEB, and Mark Chapman. I knew as soon as UWE bought on SS my heart dropped. Still the Bees got what they deserved.
zzzzzzzzz'' brentford champions'' zzzzzzzzzzzz
I feel our best players today were Bidwell (our most attacking threat), Craig, and my man of the match goes to Kev, the experience in the middle that we need.
Special mention goes to Douglas who made many mistakes in the game but was always involved and of course without him would never have came away with a point.
Hayes is a carthorse, looks like a bad signing, maybe unfit.
Taking Forrester off unless he was injured was ridiculous as moments before he tore there defence apart with a great run.
Dean mistake for the goal I feel, a bit like last year at Tranmere.
Douglas's goal was an unorthodox prod into the bottom right hand corner inside the penalty area, from a long throw from Donaldson, which they couldn't handle.
I don't think Tranmere are going up, I don't think we are either. A lot of potential though.
Interesting what you say about Hayes as Billy Reeves said he was fantastic.![]()
After all is said and done, far more is said than is done.
Perhaps he meant Haye's impression of Alan Connell was fantastic, never looked a threat, honestly not sure if he's fit
To be fair to the moaners the season hasn't exactly been enthralling for us, yet to win away, a sizable gap between us and sixth place already, missing tons of chances yet supposedly playing like Barcelona
Bit of a strange game this one. First half I thought we completely dominated. We pressed the ball really well giving them no time at all. Tranmere barely got into our half and yet we struggled to find any clear cut openings. Hayes was IMO very ineffective.
Second half they came more into it and scored from their first chance, same old story. They had their tails up after that and we struggled even more to create any clear cut chances. I admit I was really frustrated and was actually at the exit behind the goal when we scored.
A point was the least we deserved in the end but it could and should have been so much better.
I dare say that there will be plenty of doom and gloom on here after this but I still saw enough to think that we are really close to being excellent. I for one am keeping the faith and believe that this squad can go places.
Special mention to KoC who was excellent along with Harry.
Just got home and am surprised at all the negativity. In the first half we totally outplayed them in the middle of the park and had a couple of great chances to score, one where the keeper made an incredible save to his left. The problem, as always, is there is little end product and 0-0 at half time was inevitable. Second half, Tranmere came back into it and scored a good goal as Akpa Akpro made the most of an error by Harlee and placed the ball in the far right corner. The goal woke up the home fans who had been silent until then, and we seemed to lose our way after bringing on Sam and Clayton for Harry and Fredricks. Clayton looked off the pace, and we ended up lumping long balls to him with little profit. Cue loads of Tranny time wasting and it looked like we were going home with no points, when a last ditch Clayton long throw landed to Douglas who flicked it with the outside of his right boot into the corner of the net from 10 yards, causing mass hysteria amongst players and fans. The ref, who had been poor throughout, blew the final whistle as Tranny kicked off, and we went home relieved with a draw, although it was the least we deserved. If we play like we did in the first half for the rest of the season and can get our strikers on the end of some of the great midfield play, we will definitely be in the playoffs by the end of the season.
That's good to hear Uttoxeter Bee.
Waiting for old grumpy guts to report now.![]()

According to the Tranmere Cowshed website, they mostly felt they were lucky to get a draw
