i dont know the person.wether i did or didnt i wouldnt defend it.Your right,it is one of our players referred to by one of our fans.But does this it matter if hes one of ours or not?does that mean if it was someone else,away from the club,its a lesser problem?I just dont like the 'uproar' by so many when its accepted the other way round.
Theres nothing on here that even hints at me defending the person,people who want to jump on my posts,can be construed by others,like me,of twisting words to make more of the situation instead of seeing the post,debating.Again,pc brigade springs to mind.
Lets not forget,what the person put was almost verbal like,on a computer,it wasnt directly posted to Donaldson as hes not on twitter.If it was a physical attack id understand it.Why not just mug the person off or erase?block their account from your own,if you dont agree or like what is put and dont want to see it.(not you personally)

You're right obviously, it is no more rascist just because its a case of a white person (I assume) being rascist towards a black person than the other instances of rascism you've highlighted but equally it doesn't make it any less disgraceful and it possibly isn't the thread to highlight the difference in people's opinions towards the abuse Clayton's been subjected to and the examples you've referred to.

I would expect that he will get massive support from all right-thinking supporters next week. Hopefully that will do more to affect him than the actions of one idiot.

Well said pompeybee. I couldn't agree more. I've allways been impressed with Clayton in his interviews on Bees Player. Comes across as a thoroughly decent man.If only he could improve his finishing .

Here's a thing. I have a magazine called "Ultimate Guide To The New Season - Football 2013", by the makers of "World Soccer". It's a bit like the supplement that comes with "Four Four Two" magazine at the start of every season (for those familiar with it), a supporter of each club answers a few questions re- the coming season. Billy Reeves did our's on this occasion.

Now, one of the questions is, "Best Song Last Season". George Dugdale, on behalf of Oxford United's supporters answers, "You're just a fat Eddie Murphy, to Northampton's Adebayo Akinfenwa was more successful than most in winding up the recipient."

To my mind, Akinfenwa bears no resemblance whatsoever to Eddie Murphy. Murphy, to the best of my knowledge has never been a prolific goalscorer and Akinfenwa has never made me laugh. Particularly. This chant seems to be based purely on the only thing they have in common - a similar shade of skin. So would you agree this is a racist chant? And if so, should the vast majority of Oxford United's home end be banned, or sent to prison? Also, should "World Soccer" be held accountable for printing this?

He did. And most insulting and offensive it was too, to glandularly challenged people all over the world. He should have gone to prison for it. Well, that and crimes against comedy . And music .

However, I very much doubt that this particular role had any bearing on the Oxford chant as I don't believe the area benefits from video yet. It is even said that the good people of Oxfordshire have the highest percentage ratio of black and white TV licences in the UK (4 B&W to 1 Colour) and the girls regularly marry their own fathers .
