**** Brook Road South Closed between The Griffin and Clifden Road ****

    From the club's website:

Brentford fans are advised that Brook Road South will remain closed between The Griffin Pub and Clifden Road until further notice due to a serious Police incident.

Brentford fans attending the npower League One match against Hartlepool United tomorrow, Saturday October 27, are advised to consider this road closure when making plans to attend.

The Club will make a further announcement regarding access to Griffin Park for tomorrow's fixture on Saturday morning.

its a terrible thing which has happened but i dont understand why the old bill (who thesedays are pretty much useless unless theyre waiting on corners for people who might or might not have a seat belt on) would still keep that part of the road closed???.....surely in 3 days they would have done all that needs to be done regarding evidence, fingerprints etc etc ???

seeing as theyve got the lowlife scrote who done it, whats the deal ???

    hello ken
it's God's job to forgive the Taliban, it's the Royal Marines job to arrange the meeting

Is this a pedestrian ban as well as a vehicle ban? Is the Griffin closed until the exclusion Zone is lifted?

If it is closed no doubt there will be a bucket collection in the ground to assist Ralph to pay his bills and feed himself

Last night it was closed to both from the corner by the away entrance.
I would imagine that the Griffin would be open and access from Braemar Road.
Not sure how the Hartlepool fans are going to get in to GP ?

Its gathering every piece of available evidence so the CPS and police know they have a water tight case. Could be all sorts of reasons why its taking so long, including something as basic as lack of expert staff available! Just let the police do their job and walk the extra few yards. Lets not be like the former chief whip!

Judging by this morning, pedestrians are ok to walk, but no vehicle entry - Police ticker tape separates junctions Clifden Rd & Brook Road South and Brook Road South & Braemar Rd.

Brentford fans are advised that*Brook Road South will remain closed to pedestrians and vehicles between Braemar Road and Clifden Road until further notice due to ongoing investigations in to a serious Police incident.

It will be closed today when The Bees entertain Hartlepool United in an npower League One match that kicks off at 3pm.

Hartlepool fans attending the game will be allowed access through the police*cordon*to get to the turnstiles at the Brook Road end of the ground.

No Brentford supporters will be allowed through the cordon and Brook Road cannot be used as a*thoroughfare from Clifden Road to Braemar Road.

Looked a bit sad today, the house was sealed off and windows blacked out and forensic cops dressed like marshans
standing outside. Feel sorry for the neighbours, but one of them looked a bit weird.
lord only knows what the pool fans were thinking.
