    Team Vs Boreham Wood

Need to give some fringe players a go. I know we should take every game seriously but players need to get a chance.

    I'd go with:

    Lee
    Logan Dean Legge Barron
    Kev
    Dallas Adeyemi
    Forrester
    Hayes German

Subs: Moore, Bidwell, Craig, Diagouraga, Douglas, Forshaw, Donaldson

Full strength team please. A chance to progress and for players to get a bit of confidence.

Id be unhappy if Uwe didnt put a full team out.

Extra money in the FA Cup is not to be sniffed at. Around £15k in gate and £15k in prize money pays the wages for a week if we win.

I believe Rosler has said Lee will start in goal. I'd expect Legge to play also, I'm sure Boreham Wood will look to get in our faces and be physical so we may need to counter that. We'll also need permission for the loan players to feature.

    -----------------Lee-------

    Logan------Legge---Dean------Craig

    Forshaw--Douglas-----O'Connor-----Forrester

    ------------Hayes---Donaldson---------

Whislt it's a chance to give the fringe players a chance I hope we don't go to overboard with the changes. After all we don't exactly have a good record, under Uwe, of dealing with so called lesser teams in cup competitions. Losing to Hereford, Barnet, Wrexham and a fortunate win over Basingstoke are not fond memories. This year I would love to have a run to at least the 4th. round and few big pay days.

tough one for Uwe for this game.

A must for Kev - he has been there and done that against the so called lesser teams. Plus they will be well up for it and probably turn it into a dog fight.

Not sure this is a game for Harry - get the feeling they will know all about him and will want to keep him quiet one way or another.

Hayes and Donaldson both to play please due to their size and strength. Maybe even go Donald as a winger.

Uwe has already said Lee going to start. Think we'll need strength and experience for these non leaguers so for me Leggey KOC Clayton and Hayes need to start. The rest I'll leave to Uwe!

    Lee(1/3)
    Logan Legge(2/3) Craig(1) Barron(3)
    Saunders/Forshaw(1/2) O'Connor(1) Douglas(1) Dallas(2/3)
    Hayes(3) Spencer/Donaldson(3)

I have opted for that starting line up as bar Logan all 11 are under at least one of the three marked criteria : (1) Vastly experienced. Important calm heads on a tricky cup day. (2) Have non-league experience (or in Dallas' case, an equivalent level) (3) Have a point to prove ahead of Pompey. All of these three factors lead me to believe that this starting 11 could steer us safely into the hat for the next round.

Absolutely right. Same team as Saturday please, always play your BEST players no matter who the opposition is. A nice cup run would make a change

Need a strong team. I'd bring Dallas in for Diagouraga and move Forshaw infield, but otherwise as per the last 2 games

Whilst I can see some logic in those not wanting to play Clayton up top, I think in this game his pace will frighten the life out of the defenders, whether that leads to goals does, of course, remain the conundrum

Would hope, and expect, Rosler to play the strongest team available with Lee having a run out in goal to put pressure on Moore to retain his place against Pompey

Why leave Moore out ?...........he saved us on Saturday and has done nothing wrong. On what basis are you selecting Lee ?

Rosler has said Lee will start IIRC. The game time will do him good.

Strongest team possible. This is the FA Cup. Let the Prem teams disrespect it's history and significance but not us.

looking at their squad – they have some league experience amongst them

Cliff Akurang – Barnet and Daggers

Omer Riza -Barnet, Shrewbury. Aldershot and some European clubs.

    Jerel Ifil -Aberdeen and Swindon

Like the JPT, I expect us to play a strong squad but mixed with a few of the fringe players. Players like Dallas and Reeves I would expect to see on the bench at a minimum, while Lee I also expect to start.

If Saunders is fit I'd play him as well as a chance for him to get back into the frame. We are a good side though, so it is important to play to our strengths, and not only as a counter to their physicality.
