Someone else told me they just rang for a Carlise ticket and was told we had sold 950.

Does anyone know the truth ?

Rosler has now said he'll select a very strong squad for this: According to the Hounslow Chronicle.

Says we won't 'underestimate them'....while that's all well and good, I think he said the same thing about last years non-league opponents. Sometimes it is better just to try and 'go' at a team who you know aren't as good.

    I agree Mr Pipe.
FFS we are playing Boreham Wood not Man Utd.

That's a great shame but understandable. Would like to see Dallas get some game time and Redwood & Reeves -who both seem to be doing well in the Development Squad. Not a fixture to take lightly and it's a test of Uwe's managerial skills to get the balance right.

It would be very nice to see us playing an old-fashioned 4-4-2 with Dallas on the right and maybe Barron on the left... :daysofScottsmiley:

My 'non league' workmate reckons Boreham Wood are shoe ins for promotion to the Conference this season and are an excellent side with their confidence up...not a game to be taking chances or messing around with formations ...definately one for Legge and Kev to start ...i suspect Harry and young Forshaw will never have experienced anything like this whilst we need their undoubted class maybe we need to win the physical battle first and use them from the bench....we can win this, or at least get them back to GP, which would be no disgrace if we approach it right.

Were " Kev and Legge " in the side that dumped out in the first round last year ?........

probably nearer to 950 then around 500 left hopefully....i got 600 before the game sat so should be nearer 900 i reckon......anything near 1k will be decent

as for the game i really hope herr rosler understands that we need to play our strongest side from the start.....bhamwood are no mugs but we will look like ones if he goes with barron, german etc,,,,,,this is the fa cup and we need the prestige, money and confidence which comes with a good run.....play our best side uwe or you'll know about it

still reckon this is gonna be a lot tighter than some will predict,,,,our record against non league recently isnt good and we need to have the right attitude going into this game,,,,,a winning attitude please

The Boreham Wood ultra firm of QPR, Watford, Chelsea and Boca Juniors will have the majority of these.
Vote BLUNSTONE - maybe out of touch but closer than what we already have.

A keeper who can stop the ball going in our goal.
Four defenders who can stop the ball going near our goal and direct it towards their goal.
Two strikers who can use any part of their body apart from their hand or arm to make the ball go in their goal quite a few times.
Four midfielders who can do a mixture of what the defenders and strikers will be doing.
Seven more players to sit on the bench ready to replace any of the eleven already mentioned who aren't doing their job.

These games are never easy. I wonder what the playing surface is like? Fortunately we've had a lot of rain so it should be possible to play it to feet. However, the playing surface will affect who is selected.

These games should be easy. Our players get paid a lot more than theirs and get better coaching. It should be a piece of piss.
