i agree with owlsmoor_bee ER will make his own choises and not pick players to please certain people. we can all talk a winning team but we dont all have full insite to players performance on the training ground and in the dressing room.
I wouldnt be surprised if he plays Richard Lee in goal. Its who he is going to play in front of him that slightly worries me.
Its going to be interesting which team he picks.
I reckon its going to be 1-1 with us winning the replay at home. Our away form this season is very bad and defence has let in a few soft goals.
I agree, we cant underestimate them. Not sure that I would start with Saunders though, but I liked to see Dallas play.
Lee
Logan, Legge, Craig, Bidwell
Dallas, Kev, Forshaw, Forrester
Donaldson, Hayes
Subs: Moore, Dean, Douglas, Reeves, Barron, Saunders, Norris

I would be surprised if he didn't! As I posted before, it's a good game to see Dallas get a run out but most non-league teams are quite physical and Saunders is not one for the physical challenge. Leon is, though, and I'd expect him to be our rock in defence; I can't see that we have too many starting options up front... unless we play with a lone striker!
When the wind of change blows some build walls, others build windmills...
Don't care what team he puts out as, we will all have different viewpoints, equally not bothered what the score is PROVIDED we are playing in the next round !!
He wants to take it seriously otherwise Pompey on tuesday night could turn into another Dagenham away...
What a totally ludicrous over the top and unnecessarily scare-mongering comment.
No things are not perfect and we are underperforming in terms of our results but we are not within light years of the situation that faced us at Dagenham when leaving aside whether or not there was an argument on the players coach prior to the game, the team had obviously given up on the manager and barely went through the motions.
I too want Rosler to change his approach in a few ways but there seem to be posters here that seem to want to stir up and ferment strife and sackings when the future is pretty damn good and nothing like the Scott scenario when we were plummeting like a stone.

Fully take you point NLB but in all fairness I don't think a grumpy and slightly controversial post from a rather disillusioned and world weary Greenholme will ferment a re-run of the French Revolution amongst the GPG faithful, however a slip on the banana skin tomorrow and a few of the more extremist D&G brigade may be out on the streets with burning brands. Big month for Uwe and the lads starting tomorrow. Hoping for a professional and proficient win. Important to start well and gain the early initiative.
There has been a lot of criticism of this post. Hopefully, we will not need to guage the mood at the club following defeats at Borehamwood and Portsmouth.
If however the result at Borehamwood were to be a disgrace, and there are not many other shocks in the first round, unfortunately the club would be in the spotlight with a lot of negative press. In addition, the loss of revenue from a first round exit will also add to that bad feeling.
If that were followed up by a witless showing at Portsmouth and a dreadful result, there would be a good deal of soul searching from the hierarchy within the club through to the fans as to whether or not things were going acceptably in the cicumstances, and who should be held to account. I would not expect it to be the same outcome as it was for Scott after Dagenham, (and I was there for that shambles of a performance). Fortunes would however need to change very quickly for Uwe following those circumstances.
I sincerely hope that the above doesn't happen, because if it does, unfortunately Greenholme Bee's post will be the outcome that several will be asking for.
thats the way i would see it too
i really hope uwe sees it that way tomorrow too......he needs to take this game very seriously and very professionally......a defeat tomorrow would be unthinkable to many
im still going for a 3-1 win though....coming from a goal down too![]()
it's God's job to forgive the Taliban, it's the Royal Marines job to arrange the meeting
Article posted on the official website states that there are 400 tickets left for tomorrow.
Correct!, No manager is going to be worried by what the fans actually think or want in the team selection process, we are here just to help contribute to the wage bill and cheer them on each week, nothing more, nothing less, we might like to pass comments on here, but that's only our thoughts and nothing will ever come of it, but it's still good to hear different opinions from the supporters on here, some good, some bad, but that's what a forum is all about.
Reading to what he has stated and quoted he's not taking this game at all lightly and hopefully puts out a very strong team, and that is the way it should be, not a team filled with reserves, "just to give them a run out", I think this will be a very close call with a scrappy 1-0 win to us, and we will be made to fight all the way, as they are not going to lie down meekly.
surely dallas must get a game any year now?
Jesus I only put it as a wind up.. Calm down! Seriously though I really hope he puts a full side out tomorrow. A big win at a non league outfit would put the message out that we mean business, ensure a massive following on Tuesday for the biggest trip away since Leeds and a 8,000 crowd on saturday...
Quite happy for Dallas etc. to get a run out once we have the game under control, ie 3-0 up and passing the arse off the opposition. I do not enjoy these games against non-league sides and still remember the Guildford games and the nightmare that was Barrow. Borehamwood look to be having a good season but they are three levels below us and it shouldn't be close at all. Should it.......?
Mi equipo, mi corazon
I think Lee in goal might be the only change. This is a big game for us as a good cup run would do wonders to finances and player moral as well. Not a time to experiment
