    Agreed!

It seems some are trying to fit square pegs into round holes. Don't!

I dont think its the players its just that we dont seem organised at the back.
We are badly missing Dean, Canos and Woods.
Watkins is going to be the best buy ever, he's got to start Tuesday.
You would think that Dean would wake up as he was a defender- what is going on Dals and Bjelland must be dropped to the bench.

I think you made a typo and put Dals not Egan.

Yep, I agree on Maupay, but Vibe has to do much much more than yesterday. I would change at half-time if he is not.

I agree, but would go with Yennaris instead of Mokotjo

I like the line up but to me it's a toss up between McEachran or Sawyers when playing both Woods and Kamo

Colin Murray on football on 5 stated the obvious that we either sale Dean or play him. Same as Colin. It must be difficult for DS at the moment with what he knows in the background, but can't comment on. But some positive moves need to be made, rather than just let side run out without a leader.

    Mokotjo

    Jota Woods Sawyers Watkins

    Vibe

Subs: Daniels, Maupay, McEachran, Colin, Yennaris, Henry, FloJo

Henry hasn't been effective attacking wise and certainly hasn't kept things tight at the back.

DS will tell Mokotjo to just break up everything in front of Dean & Bjelland and don't foray past Woods and Sawyers.
Barbet at Left Back I wouldn't put money on it. I have been told Henry has been playing on a injury, so Barbet for me yes at left back only if Henry is not fit, but to replace him with Barbet if fit, is a no no no.

Hardly anyone has clarkey in their squad, let alone their team.
I think the lad is quality and could be our stand out player in
The next couple of seasons. Think he deserves a start,
he's be better than Flo Jo potentially

I agree that's why I put him in for Tuesday,he's bulked up a lot in the last 6 months and looked strong in pre season friendlies.l haven't given up on Flo Jo though.

I see, so basically everyone that didn't start in a defeat suddenly deserves to play

No. Just drop those that have lost form or are not ready.

Agree with the starting line up but needs to be more 4-2-3-1 than 4-3-3.

Paul, Just me being pedantic as I totally get your point, but Barbet not only isn't any better he is a lot worst. We tried Bjelland and Barbet at left back last year and it was not good. Rico is young learning but has so much potential. He is first choice every time by a country mile.

Personally I would like to see McEachran and Sawyers together and Sawyers makes spaces for McEachran's vision. Woods and Nico for me every time. (I can see the Kamo option for away or tight games but we need a win)

    Lost form?

    We've played twice.

As for not ready, not sure how dropping them is going to help that

So you want to drop Henry from the squad completely and play a guy who is on loan at Bradford? Seems drastic tbh

Agree, I can only assume it maybe his transfer talk that is holding him back at present. Easy to forget how good he was last year.!

Up until yesterday l would have agreed with you. I was very impressed with the big lad. A real physical tacker who scared the pants off their players. A monster driving forwards and wins every ball played out to him so a great outlet for Bentley. There were gaps when he pushed forwards but l don't fault him. When a player pushes on someone should fill in the gap.I also think that our poor defending is a result of us getting too stretched when in possession. We need to be more compact. We haven't defeded well as u unit since our promotion and it doesn't look like we will be any better this season after what l saw yesterday.

I appreciate your feedback. I see you point mentioning his forward play but a defenders first skill is to defend. Moses recovered as a right back because of his speed. Colin does it because of brains and skill. I restate my case that Colin is the best right back to don the red and white stripes.
