It did feel like every attack was dependant on Myles going past his man and getting decent delivery in, so glad that Sam S is now taking reponsibility. Never really thought about the Dicko link but to be fair we definitely had more attacking options down the left with both playing so you may be right. If Myles was consistently unplayable he'd be in the prem by now, if we can share the workload I'm sure he could become a very valuable asset.

I actually thought Alexander was looking a bit trimmer on Tuesday night. And I also missed the burger van at Braemar Road. Not saying they're related in any way.

The stirker that Huddersfield have on loan from Bolton (Danny Ward) looked overweight, but he has pace and knows what to do with the ball, so they are still out there

Myles has days when he plays like magic and days when he plays like Paul Daniels; that's why he's at our level. I do think that he needs someone to double up with him - Woodman is more reluctant to do that than Dickson was (but Woodman is more aware of defending). The CM's or one of the forwards needs to help him out as he beats a defender with pass and pace and not with skill. He's also an 'instinctive' player who can produce a great pass or shot unless he has time to think about it.

Saunders definitely has more creativity but they're very different players; we really need to add a right-footed Weston and a left-footed Saunders, although Wood fulfils that role.

So - which players that you scouted for them are still with the same club? Just curious.

He was a second best signing after Scott couldn't get near the strikers he wanted.
A good journeyman league one striker in his post sunset (dark) years.

Exactly what we didn't need again! Scott's signings this season in cold retrospect have been a total fail.

And it's cost us, not only in pissing a very decent budget away and missing an easy league to chance this season, but lumbering us with many crap players on stupidly long contracts.

In Scott we trust. To fleck the budget and season away. ****.

I think Gary's done well this season and is a nailed on cert to star in our big game at Wembley.
A few tired games recently, but he is still a player of quality.
Ps anyone calling him fat needs their eyes tested and a reality check !

Thought he put in a good shift today. We need a targetman and he is the only current option.
Not in the inner circle so can only give opinion not fact.

    Best performance for ages today.
Far too old for a mid-life crsis

Think its 12. 9 league (Walsall, Charlton, Pboro, Exeter, Colchester, Soton, Dagerrs, B Rovers, Orient) 2 JPT (Exeter 2) 1 Lge Cup (Everton). He averages around 12 per season so has done what he normally does and should get about 15 in all.

Very good today. He's a clever forward you know - not just a lump there for flick ons- there's a purpose to it as well and you can see in the way he plays that he thinks a lot about what's happening on the park.
I intend to live forever. So far, so good.

I like the way in which he didn't back down or do anything reckless when Andrew Whing confronted him during the first half. They squared up, but no hint of a headbutt or a shove etc from GA. He didn't back down & in a beta male kind of way Whing resorted to hugging him afterwards.

Good performance today against his old team by Gary.
