I've tried to be!! Sent off my direct debit form to continue membership ages (at least six weeks) ago but still no membership card, still no direct debit taken from my account, been seriously underwhelmed by what appears to be calamitous 'organisation'/communication from the moment I joined last year.

Good question this year I included membership as part of my season ticket, have not heard a word so does this mean
    A) the club have just pocketed the money (convinced not)
    B) BU have pocketed the money and done nothing (most probable on previous performance)
    C) Am I a member or not
That was the season and so is the next season

Not at present, no, cancelled my 4 memberships end of last season. BU must hold some money, I'm assuming, how much? No idea. If a time comes when our money is needed again, I'll join up, but at present I see no reason to continue. Although I still have my BIAS membership.

I continue to pay and will do so until I'm certain the money is not needed.

If everything goes well I presume that BU will donate any money they have to BFC.

What else can they do with the money?

I'm sure there would be retribution if the Board went out on a giant pis* up :-)

BFC wont last a month if MB pulls his support.

The running costs, contracts, staffing levels on and off the field, and all the other fees are enormous for a club in the 1st Division that attracts under 6,000.

Whilst MB is a great bloke, and we are all behind him, this reminds me a bit of the days when another owner was splashing the cash until he threw his toys out of the pram.

Let us pray MB's money takes us to the promised land pdq.

BU / buckets etc count for little when a club is losing £100k a week.

    You spout so much cobblers.

MB has in place the funds to see the club through his tenure. He'd give notice if he was to 'pull the plug' and BFC would cut their cloth accordingly. There's no worries where the club and MB are concerned. IF..... Things were to happen, then we'd have a playing budget of around £1 mill...... Deal with it. Stop your scare mongering.

A major difference is that MB is a long-time Bees supporter.

Im still a member and think it is still important to support the trust, would be nice to get a mebership card through the post sooner rather than later though!

They are on their way. Along with notification of this year board elections. So if you want to make things happen for BU, you should stand. Time for some new blood.

I strongly doubt that I am going to stand again as work is becoming more and more onerous.

I personally think it is an absolute disgrace how they have treated supporters who backed them and 'paid' for the option on this years season tickets.

Yes - I believe bluntstone is likening Matthew Benham to Ron Noades.

Completely different secenario. For starters Noades was spending BFC money - a world of difference.
