Default Super Luxury Coach to Gateshead

I have obtained a quote from Tellings Golden Miller for a 36 Seat / 9 Table Super Luxury Coach with onboard Toilet and Tea/Coffee facilities plus 2 drivers at £2100.00.

That equates to £58.33 per seat.

Coach would depart at 7.00am on the way up and then at 5.30pm or as soon as all are on board after the game.

There would be a stop on the way up and back - Anticipate back to wherever we started from around 1.00pm.

Can we get 36 together for this ???? - I am happy to do all the logistics if we get 36 diehards !

Sounds interesting - I'm hoping the club would be thinking similar and be able to offer a cheaper price due to the relationship with their current supplier. That's not decrying your efforts Paul as I might be up for this.

What he means to say is that he must check it out with BIAS first.

Pick Up / Drop Off not arrangeed as yet cos would need to know the most central point for all.

Arrive back time is of course 1.00am NOT 1.00pm

The Coach will have Video/DVD/Music so that, along with all the newspapers and a few card schools should see the time past quickly.

I heard that the plane charter will need in minimum of 150 passengers and that the cost will be in excess of £150 - I myself would rather do air travel but due to the amount of people needed to make it viable I reckon it may not get off the ground (Pun intended).

Hence I spoke with Tellings as if I have to go by road I would rather do it on a dogs dangly bits coach than driving my own car (Which would cost about £120.00 in petrol
anyway.

Would prefer the plane option but if not feasible then this would be something I would consider - any alcohol allowed?

I have not asked about alcohol regulations - I would assume not a problem if in moderation (ie- No one getting to the state where projectile lumps come into play)

Should it be that the plane does not go (I would rather fly) then once I had confidence that I could get 36 then I would confirm with Tellings about alcohol etc

Alcohol would be illegal is my understanding. Unless, of course, you're NOT going to a football match and then change your mind at Durham and empty the coach of all traces of it etc.

No chance, tellings will inform the old bill before the game anyway.

Well it looks like

Paul USA
Fishing Bee
Markybee
John Halls is our best right back

Thats 4 out of 36

Plus several who may be up for it

Tellings are looking for confirmatioin and pre payment by Friday - I am OK with settling the £2100.00 and collecting on the day but I do need people to actually confirm rather than advise they may be up for it - I realise this will be easier to do once the plane is on/off.
