I think Rösler wants a team to play with more pace than Sam has and, as the alternatives get into their match stride, he'll fall down the pecking order. Forshaw, Forrester and Adeyemi have more technical ability, vision and speed, they just need to get into the team groove.
It's no coincidence that the youngsters Uwe has brought in are outshining the older players. The above 3, plus Bidwell and Logan (and arguably Dean) have all come from PL youth systems where they learn how to play a particular way. Players who have sloshed around the lower leagues, like Sam, Clayton and others, may have something about them and some experience but will never have that football education; they will always be lower league players. One or two of our new crop will go on to greater things... let's hope it's with us.
