9 you say not including loanees. Moore, Logan, Dean, Craig, Forshaw,Forrester, Douglas, Dave well OK, Donaldson???. You said at least though and I wouldn't want to consider any others. I dont really think that Douglas and Dave would be more than squad players if we really wanted to make an impact. I'm not saying we have not a good half dozen who are good enough but we would need at least that many again of similar quality if we were not to struggle.

Yes these are the players I believe could play at Championship level and I suspect / hope we may be able to add Stuart Dallas to that list, to make it up to 10. I also think Tom Adeyemi and Jake Bidwell can play at the next level.
Football is not a matter of life or death, it's more important than that.

I think Toumani is having one of his best spells at the club at the moment.

His first touch is normally very good, he's composed on the ball and does an excellent job of clearing up. His play allows our more luxury players to do what they do best, and he sits calmly behind them and helps out when needed.

I think it may seem like he does little, but he gets through an awful lot of work that goes unoticed. For example, Forshaw's run and through ball to Clayton to score against Crawley was down to Toumani's quick and simple passing. Big fan of him at the moment

In good form at the moment.

The 'Dave' thing has always bugged me too. Just because Peterborough fans were too thick to pronounce his name didn't mean we had to continue it.

Completely agree that Dave is embarrassing, we Bees are above that.

Having just listened to the Bees World interview with Simon Moore, I quite like the idea of the nickname "Toon Army", nice slip of the tongue from the interviewer

Brilliant stuff today. That marauding run in the 2nd half from deep was Viera-esque

Agree with the last few posts above. Quite possibly in the best form he's ever shown for us at the moment and was brilliant again today.

I agree. He seems to be brimming with confidence and is running at players with no fear.A bit different to the Dave i saw last season and he was in superb form today.Long may it continue!

I have been critical of him in the past, but I have to hold my hand up and say that was a tremendous performance today.

i'm not convinced a centre midfield pairing of douglas and dave would get us promoted but if they keep playing like they did yesterday i may come around to the idea

Very harsh. The ball look a whopping bobble just as he played the pass.

Probably the best game I've seen from him, real shame the ball bobbled after the run. He and Douglas were outstanding yesterday.

The sort of performance we should expect on a regular basis, a real colossus yesterday.

Toumani is championship quality with consistency. I agree that a combination of him and Douglas does not give us the platform to run games albeit that is where Forshaw comes into it.

Thought he and JD were our best players in the first half although they got over-run at times as it was 3 against 2. When Forshaw moved infield to make up the numbers, we began to dominate
