Delighted he got on today. Heard it was his excellent corner that got the third goal but how did he look otherwise?
It was great corner had pace and delivery into six yard box for someone to get onto.
Sam took one few minutes earlier and they went up the field and nearly scored!!

Think he might surprise some people. Talented, fitness is clearly good and hes a very determined lad.
To be honest I'd like him to be the forgotten man as then expectations would be low from us, and the opposition wouldn't take more notice.

Good point, well made.
I met him at the Big Red Ball and he's quite a cheeky chappy who seemed popular with the rest of the squad. Wouldn't be surprised to see him make a further impact this season, particulalry with Uwe's seemingly preferred diamond system

Make or break 6 months for him I would say, if he has not shone by Xmas I think he will be offloaded. Clearly has not yet got into UWs main thinking, could even be an important pre season of friendlies for him.
I doubt it - he's 19 and we have players older than him in the development squad who have had fewer appearances
He is not even 20 until May next year ? Given that we have an academy squad etc why would we want to offload a youngster aged 19 and a half just because he hasn't cemented a first team place yet?

a loan could be more likely as he is probably better than the DS but maybe not good enough for the first team just yet
It'd be nice to see the club persist with some of the kids who stay injury-free. They tend to get left out as if there are any problems with a first teamer, in comes a loanee.
