That said, s'funny how people can see that with SS/HF but
not with Simon Moore and Richard Lee. I still think the gloves are for Moore to lose and not Richard to automatically assume he has those rights. Who out of the two has more potential, and likely to make us more money?
Agree about Sam but have only seen a few questioning Moores starting place. I've banged on it before but what is nearly as important as natural talent, especially at the back is an iability to command and communicate effectively.

Personally I think Moore needs to be more vocal and commanding and given more games that should develop. I expect that's why Craig was was bought but suspect that Harlee has assumed the role of the commanding, dominant centre back at the tender age of 21.

After Sam's deliveries yesterday and rarely beating the first man on several corners, give 'Arry a chance. What's to lose?

And Forshaw takes a better corner. Both players need to be in the starting line up. There's nothing to lose!

Of course not?! You can only play 11.

Reeves needs to go out on loan IMO. Adeyemi will have to sit on the bench.

I'd pick Harry, or Hayes, to start in place of Saunders v Col U. I can see 3 changes at least.

Hollywood footballer, no work rate, only plays for 60 mins max, wont see him much i dont think.

He was supposed to be our million pound player?!

    Sorry....

Last season SS simply had to play. Not only was he in form but in a team with a total lack of creativity he gave us assists and goals. I now see us being far more creative and he's no longer the main man. It appears he's become inconsistent with his main attribute which is his delivery - couldn't deliver post yesterday. A bit early to be writing him off, but think he needs a couple of games on the bench to realise he's not guaranteed to start and the show will go on without him. No-one can be selected on the basis that we might get a free kick on the edge of the box.

We'll never know what Harry is by giving him 10mins every 4th game. I don't see many better games to start him in than home to a Colchester side who have just been thumped 4-0.

Not sure how you have come to this conclusion but thats your opinion. I want to see Forrester given a run of games starting. Everytime I see him play, he offers so much more than Saunders.

If honest, this season I've only seen Harry in one friendly at Hayes and Yeading and he was superb so keen to see him given the chance. Not sure how you can honestly say he offers much more than Sam given how little Harry F has done and how many goals Sam scored last season.

However I do believe Harry could be a better option and we'll only know if he plays.

Sean O'Driscoll plays Andy Reid, we should be starting Harry Forrester. He's got good vision, good skill, the ability to open up defences.
But it does seem like Uwe doesn't really trust him.
We'll probably see him realise his potential at Crawley or Stevenage.

If you're talking about Harry Forrester then I couldn't disagree with you more. He is our best player yet Uwe never gives him a chance.

I agree Harry should be given more of a chance , truth is we don't really know how good he is..BUT .how can anyone possibly say he is our best player ?..based on what ? 10 minute cameos ?...its easy to call for the saviour whose not in the team but I wouldn't write Sam off just yet everyone has dips in form and I would love to see Harry tried out. He's been with us for a year now and whatever you think of Uwe judgement if he was the next Lionel Messi i'm sure he'd have played him by now.
So lets give him a try but don't expect too much of him too soon I suspect in the hurly burly of L1 he will struggle to play a disciplined 90 minutes but unless he does we won't know how good he is.

More or less what I posted at 16.31- not enough proof that Harry is a better player than Sam but most of us believe he has potential to be very good and would like to see him given a fair crack to show what he can do.

MK Away - Harry plays in tandem with an on song Sam, creative, clever, artful the pair of them, MK chasing shadows in the first 45.

Sheff Wed at home, Harry F shines in the rain as he switched from wing to wing as Sam pulled the strings in the middle.

Walsall Away, Cup, Sam on a siesta gets subbed at half time, Harry F ok but nothing special gets hooked 15 minutes later meandering at the top of the diamond. Forshaw looked the ticket and had more in 20 mins about him than the pair put together. Since then Uwe has had Harry bench warming.

Saunders is in pole, as there is no denying that Uwe favours the older pro at the top of the diamond than the youngster who's fitness has disappointed him. The story about the bleep test came from Uwe himself.

Harry F will get a chance, he has skill in buckets, form is temporary, class is permanent, but you get the vibe that Harry has to win over the management more so than the GP faithful.

I really want Harry to be given a run, I think he could be class for us!

My concern is that he won't get much of a chance this season and will move on and become a class player elsewhere. I don't want to him to be a regret in years to come!!

  28. #775
Not really sure what more Harry has to do to get a game? The manager spelt it out in close season that he was too unfit, and set a target - Harry reached it. Now he sees the man in his position in the side having an average to poor run of games, if he does not start one of the next two games, I would suggest his face does not fit, and as Mundee4england says, we will see him tearing teams apart in different colours next season
