Fantastic cross for the winner was great to see a player get wide and cross, not bad for a team that doesn't play with any wide players in this stupid diamond formation.
Drop the diamond and get back to 4-4-2 and our strikers will score lots more from crosses.

Totally disagree - 4-4-2 is far too predictable and therefore easier to defend against and is dull to watch to boot
Brilliant Bees sting the oppos, but at Griffin Park it's Honey I Love You

My rating of Forrester goes up and up after every game I watch him. He totally changed the game yesterday. He wants to be on the ball all the time whilst not being afraid to run at players and use skill. His dribbling sets him apart in our team and you can tell why Ajax were interested in him. He HAS to start on thursday.

i always think his ten minute cameos force him to be really selfish usually and it is detrimental. had 30 minutes or so yesterday so didnt have to be quite so greedy. super skills for the cross.
is he 100% fit now or WHAT please?

Fully agree with your post, we were getting nowhere yesterday with that midfield. Saunders is the weak link, and apart from being very good at dead ball situations offers little else. Harry came on and changed the game, not since the days of Stan Bowles have I seen a lovely pass threaded through into the penalty area with such ease. Our current style of play is taylor made for harry , and I hope that he gets a run in the side that he deserves . I also thoink the club should tie him down for a longer contract ASAP.

Yep I commented last week about goals needing to come from midfield and that Harry hadn't scored for us yet.
Terrific performances and must be starting on Saturday.

Glad he has broke his duck. After recent performances you would say he deserved a start, especially when you consider how well he did at Muff last season. Must start against Oldham.

I can only wish we can get him up to speed asap. He makes such a difference to the side. I would potentially start with Kev at the bottom of the diamond on Saturday with Forrester, Forshaw and Adeyemi mixing it up ahead of him

Finally getting his chance and showing what he can do.

I've raved about him since middle of last season.
Most talented player at the club.
Uwe should build a team around him, diamond formation or no diamond formation.

I am in total agreement with you, and have been since the MKDonkeys jpt game last season. For some reason, Uwe doesn't seem to agree with us, I find it very frustrating.

I just wonder without any inside info if there is a question mark against his stamia, forget bleep tests but it was pretty obvious he was spent when substituted against Orient, and possible that he was dropped last night to be ready for Sat

He plays with such high energy which is great if you have the stamia to last 90 odd mins, if this is the case you can not build your team around him
That was the season and so is the next season

First name I look for on the teamsheet. If its him and any ten others I'll usually be happy.

At what stage do we need to start thinking about a new deal? Is he not free to start talks with other clubs at Xmas, with a view to a summer Bosman?!! That would make me sad!!

Brilliant goal on Tuesday night, convinced he's got so much more to give - I reckon another goal against Oldham is a high possibility.

Agreed. Hope there's enough left in the kitty to offer him a couple more years already. Hopefully with tidy bonus payments added.
