Very good performance today. Pleased.
Tevez and Torres up front? I would prefer Donaldson and Grella!
Yep showed he is still a decent left back option which you wouldn't think if you listened to some of the more uninformed opinion on here.
...........well done to the fella...........played very well.........
Played ok, no more than that.
Did what Craig does best, solid and reliable.
Everything is as it's meant to be
Very solid performance. We needed his experience in defence
... and he had a shot at goal!!! There's a lesson for some of the others.
When the wind of change blows some build walls, others build windmills...
Didn't really notice him, which must mean he had one of his 'better' games. No way in hell should he be starting ahead of Bidwell though. Hope we can move him on this month and get in someone better long term.
Once he heard Norhampton Bee hadn't made the trip to The Valley, he relaxed and played well![]()

Woodman played well yesterday but I see why UR prefers wing backs who can break quickly and get forward.
He more than most has really struggled this season and that may well be down to the lack of defensive support from left midfield. I wouldn't too unhappy if we allowed him to leave and brought Sam Wood back in as left sided cover but suspect Sam wants first team football.
Possibly ironic that in Wood and Spillane, Rosler already had two potentially overlapping fullback options. I don't dispute that their defensive abilities are questionnable but I'm not sure how easy within our sort of budget it is to find a true overlapping fullback who can also defend solidly.
I can see no reason whatsoever to be considering getting rid of Woodman who is pretty solid if unspectacular and is currently the only senior Left Back at the club other than loanees.
Not in the inner circle so can only give opinion not fact.
You may be right but the fact that UR has drafted in young loanees like Adams and Bidwell suggests that Woodman is only cover and may not be happy to play second string.
Given that Sam Wood can play anywhere down the left he might be a better option as cover? All I'm thinking is who can we afford to offload in order to raise funds for a much needed striker.
Unfair, I've never had a moment of shouting at him during a game, not my style, I only let off steam on here re the crapness of our players and he is average crap rather than total crap.
Sounds like I missed a great day out, no shots on target and Woodman was one of our better players. Hopefully I will get a bit of Bidwell and goalmouth action at the weekend, train and booze this weekend, well it worked last year.
Vote BLUNSTONE - maybe out of touch but closer than what we already have.
Another good performance by Woodman, looks like the competition has done him some good defending is sound but recently he has passed the ball better, got forward well and is showing more commitment![]()
but he did pass the halfway line a fair few times and has been getting forward more than he ever did.

Back with huge knobs on, except obviously the other way around, he played WELL (I've said this loads of times over the weekend), he didn't get forward though.
MG coming up ruined my day, it was a show of what we have we hold as GA dropped back and little Mikey was isolated, that's not his game, he got the ball and tried his stupid tricks knowing that a defender would soon breath on him and over he goes, the tricks didn't work. It wasn't just that backheel, it was the twisting when Bean gave him the ball on the edge of the box where he twisted so much he fell over his own plates.
I still had hopes of winning the game.
