24 players so immediately its a no I like the general youthful feel of it but no Rooney or Lampard who are shoe-ins - King wont go due to fitness issues and the Swansea duo also won't go

Not bad but again I think Lampard will go and I'd prefer to see Milner instead of Lennon

Spider that has to be the worst squad selection I've ever seen! Much more likely imo would be: Hart, Carson, Stockdale----Terry, Cahill, Jagielka, Lescott, A.Cole, Baines, Johnson, Walker----Gerrard, Wilshere, Parker, Lampard, Barry, P.Jones, A.Young, Walcott----Rooney, Bent, Sturridge, Wellbeck.

About the same squad as mine, but I have Chris Smalling and Jack Rodwell for JT and adam johnson whose lack of first team games may hold him back.I rate the lad and he deserves a chance.Defoe maybe for Bent?

Hart, Robinson, Foster [Green if Robinson wouldn't go]
Richards, Walker, Terry, Cahill, Jones, Lescott, A Cole
Parker Gerrard Wilshere Lampard, Milner Barry
    Young A Johnson Lennon
    Rooney Welbeck Sturridge, Bent

Robinson has retired from international football and foster recently asked not to be included so neither of them will go.

Talk of Ruddy being called up by Jamie Redknapp after Saturdays game – certainly knows how to make a save and will have no doubt been busy this season. I’d have him – cant be any worse than no hands Green. Not exactly blessed with keepers as Robbo and Foster are no shows and cant see Stockdale getting a run of games once Schwarzer is back.

    Hart, Carson, Ruddy
Johnson, Terry, Cahill, Cole, Baines, Walker, Smalling, Jagielka
Gerrard, Wilshere, Parker, Milner, Fat Frank
    Lennon, Young, Johnson
    Rooney, Bent, Defoe, Welbeck

To miss out = Jones, Cleverly, Richards, Walcott, Oxlade, Sturridge, Zamora, Crouch, Downing, Sinclair,

id take richards instead of Johnson and Walcott instead of Adam Johnson and Wilshere is out unless he can prove he is over his injury

Hart - Carson - ....Lee? (Maybe not but I can't think of a 3rd without consulting other peoples entries).
Johnson, Terry, Baines, Jones, Jagielka, Cahill, Rio, Lescott.
Gerrard, Lampard, Wilshire, Parker, Milner, Young, Lennon, Walcott.
Rooney, Bent, Welbeck, Sturridge, Defoe (please don't bring Zamora...).

There probably are one or two that should be in there and replace others, but selecting so many it's easy to miss one or two out. But looking at that list it's nice to see a decent squad there, not too many bad ones designed to fill in the numbers (ok maybe for Richard Lee).

I can't understand how anyone can justify taking Walcott if he didn't have pace he would be playing Sunday league. I think oxlade chamberlain will have a good run of form till the end of the season and go.

is that just a series of adjectives that you use to describe Gary Alexander?

and that's the guy who's actually been scoring goals for us! no wonder Nana's been looking for a more positive GPG

Agree that Walcott is looking very poor and has done little to justify his place in the Arsenal team (except being less bad than Arshavin) let alone England

I bet the difference would be that he'd be booked by a non-biased ref.
