Hypnotise the lot of 'em !
Lloyd Sam had plenty of good reviews whilst on loan @ Notts County last season - seems like he is on the way out of Leeds as well, London lad ex Charlton, more of an attacking winger - guess many could say very similar to Myles but as Myles clearly isnt fancied by Uwe - i wonder if Lloyd is worth a look.
YES YOU SKEGRAT!
I would be truly staggered if we signed another winger

It will be interesting to see whether we do. I'd favour signing a winger on a 3-month or half-season loan.
We ended last season usually playing a diamond without wingers at home (using Saunders/Forrester behind the strikers), but away from home we often played 4-4-1-1 with a full-back on one wing (Logan / Bidwell at Chesterfield) and Forrester/McGinn/Donaldson on the other wing. McGinn is obviously not an option any more, but we do now have Weston back from injury and Dallas.
Weston IMO is not a lost cause, as he's put in enough good performances to suggest he could be an asset for us (and can be a very useful super-sub). In his first two seasons (the second in particular) he lacked consistency, which he needs to improve on. Last season saw him largely kept out of the side by in-form Saunders and McGinn in the early part of the season, and then injury struck after Christmas. This season is make-or-break for him, and perhaps the best way for him to show us he's worth keeping would be to go on loan somewhere for the first few months of the season, where he can find form and consistency. If we bring in a loanee winger for the first part of the season, that would leave us well covered, whilst also allowing Dallas to be slowly brought into the side.
Unlike Woodman, Weston hasn't been made available for transfer and it may be that Uwe considers him to have potential if only he can buckle down and capitalise on his strengths, in particular his speed. He's still relatively young and if he can work on his game and achieve greater consistency he may yet prove to be a major asset.
Weston hasn't the basic ball skills to play the way Uwe wants the team to play. Weston has his uses but will find himself on the bench more often than in the first XI and probably used sparingly IMO. Best to move him on and find a better player if possible. You just have to look at Forrester, Saunders, Douglas, Forshaw and Toumani to see what type of player Uwe needs to play his way. If McGinn had some balls, he'd have stayed here, a much better ball player than Weston. We'll see soon enough.

Spot on. I reckon Weston will be staying but like you said we will soon see. Last few games of last season he was played in a more forward role and done alright. He doesn't have a football brain, not great ball skills or tricks but he does have a good left foot, he's super quick and he can cross a decent ball. A few more goals would be nice to see.
