There are plenty of posters who always know what UR is doing wrong and who we shouldn't be signing. You're not one of them but as I read it looked like another snipe.

I don't who we're getting, maybe you do and maybe it won't be the answer to our prayers. I'd prefer to believe the manager and his team know what type of player we need to bring in and trust it'll make a positive difference.
Don't expect a proven, 30 goal a season from Real Madrid reserves but don't write off before we even know who.
I have no idea who is coming in, if one is, next week. If I did I'd say or at least put people at ease! I think we all know who or what type of forward we want to see come to the club. They're a rare breed. For every Schlupp there is a Bignall, Or for a Rhodes, a Clarkson. We need 2 forwards IMO now. A quick nippy forward and a 'Farid' replacement.
I've never ripped into Uwe, Warburton or Benham, telling them how to do things.

I acknowledged that you're not a negative poster usually and as I stated when I first read your post it came across
as you thought we'd get in another player we didn't need.

I think Uwe said he was looking to bring someone in that would complement Donaldson and Hayes so I would expect to see a signing in the Al Alagui fox-in-the box/bruiser mode.
There is probably a reason why Schluup isn't getting into the first team at Leicester...
On saturday the paperwork was all that was needed to be signed, we were told by several people. But we still wait for any news on our new forward.
We have been known to sign people on a fixed period loan on a Thursday/Friday as you sometimes then get a longer period of matches within that loan spell. Perhaps it's that.

If we sign someone Thursday on a months loan I believe that would include the away game at Preston. If it was today or tomorrow I don't think that game would be included.
That is correct. Any loan announcement will be Friday I'd have thought. 28 days is the monthly loan period IIRC.
