Bidwell for another month and cleared for FA Cup, good news!
Anyone else get excited thinking it was going to be a goal scorer?

Seeing Brighton loan Vincelot to Gills made me think of another guy who went to Brighton and nothing has happened for him - Will Hoskins.
Scored goals for fun in a relegated Bristol Rovers side, went to Brighton for a million quid, got injured and has never really had a look in. I know he went to Sheff Utd end of last season and didnt do much, but think he was played on the right wing. Hasn't featured this season.
Reckon he'd stick away plenty of the chances we create. Probably out of our budget though?
Fulham said they are going to loan out some players, including Marcelo Trotta, would like to get him in.
Trotta, done well at Wycombe right??
But so did Akinde and Hayes........
I suspect Hoskins could be available for a loan deal as he needs to gain match fitness
Jake Reeves off to AFC Wimbledon today on loan

According to the clubs official Twitter: "Brentford Football Club is pleased to announce that Simon Moore has signed a deal to remain at Griffin Park until the summer of 2016"

I can't see it tbh.. why on earth would he interest us for?
RIP Huw Bryant 16-01-07
I think we are now at a crucial tipping point.
We are on a good run and about to start a series of games against the better teams in the league which will give us a far stronger indication of how well we will do this season.
Whatever happens over the next month I would still expect us to be well in the running for the playoffs.
The next few weeks also see 2 important cup £atches which could be the gateway to serious revenue in subsequent rounds.
So what am I burbling on about?
Quite simply we are so very close to having a promotion winning squad.
Moore has shown his belief in our potential by resigning for 3 years and hopefully Forrester and maybe Logan too will follow.
There are so many ridiculously talented youngsters coming through from under 15s upwards.
We have a pretty decent playing budget, one that shoidl if wisely spent put us in the mix which is indeed where we find ourselves.
But we all want more and it is obvious that there is no outstanding team and the league is totally open this season.
We need very little to take us over the edge so that we will challenge for the title.
It is obvious that we need 3 first team calibre strikers plus another promising youngster to add further strength in depth.
With Farid out for the long term I was hopeful of at least one experienced replacement coming in but to general surprise I can only assume that any such moves (and several names have been bandied around) were vetoes by who? The board, MB or his representative and we ended up with a promising but untried kid who has barely stepped onto the pitch since he arrived.
Was Spencer available for sleection last night? If not, fair enough. If he was and wasn't even put on the bench what does this suggest?
Firstly that his parent club won't be too happy and secondly either that UR doesn't really rate him or is trying to make a statement to the board - or in reality MB as the board has no real power.
I was hoping that in the next couple of weeks or so before the loan deadline that a top rated striker who would be available for loan (and I could suggest or propose names) would be brought in maybe even to augment Spencer to give us 4 strikers in all, or at worst 3 if Spencer goes back.
Now however with the 3 extra injuries what will happen?
My guess is that monies held back or found from elsewhere in the overall budget and earmarked for a Spencer replacement or addition will now go on a utility defender - a Dale Bennett type of player who can fill in as required at the back.
I am not doubting for moment that such a player is needed but given where we are in the leagueand cups this needs to be IN ADDITION to the signing of a premium loan striker.
My guess is that it will be an either or situation.
MB and the Executive Commitee need to look at the bigger picture and see if there are ways that sums perhaps earmarked for other purposes can be released to support the manager at a crucial period of the season.
Rosler has shown IMO that he merits such support and obviously MB will shortly need to make a decision about the Manager's future too.
I am not saying "let's throw aside fiscal responsibility or let's go for it!" but merely suggesting that the power that be takes a look at the bigger picture, does some careful calculating, look again at how the budget is supposed to be utilised and make sure that Uwe gets the tools to do the job that the majority of us feel that he is capable of doing this season - getting us out of this league.
