Les has recorded [http://www.griffinpark.org/forums/sh...d.php?t=99794] that we have 18 players definitely contracted. The Chronicle [http://www.hounslowchronicle.co.uk/w...642-31432404/] says that there are 23 players going to Germany, including Andy Taylor, Leon Redwood and Juvhel Tsoumou. Assuming that all the contracted players are going this means that a couple of others are going too. Antonio German, Luke Norris, Emmanuel Oyeleke, Alfie Mawson and Charlie Adam are/have been training with the First Team. [http://www.hounslowchronicle.co.uk/w...642-31325585/]. This means that either a) not all the first team are going, b) not all the youngsters are going or c) the Chronicle got the numbers wrong. Anyone know anything?

Just checked in to the Ramada after a 12 hour rail travel marathon from Limoge, France. Was going to bring the Panzer but at 815 miles each way decided to let the train take the strain.

Have not seen any red and white as of yet.

I can however confirm that the room rate is only E.60.00 for a very nice room with plenty of English channels on the TV - AND, full English Buffet from 6.30am to 10.30am is only E.15.00

Off to sit in the bar and wait on arrivals.

Looks like I am the only one at The Ramada then.

Boys not expected for another hour or so - There is some room sharing logistics taking place just now - Sam really wants to room with Jonathan Douglas so re arranging to be done. All will be resolved soon.

Hot and humid? I hope so. Weather has been worse than London in Berlin! Setting off on the Autobahn to Leipzig shortly.

    Tour Update

Squad arrived hotel at 10.18pm last nite after a pleasant flight - They appreciated the singing on the plane by the Bees fans up the back.

Eddie Rogers is here with a very interesting mate as his mate is the Technical Director for F1 Willimas Racing Team - He took Eddie to Valencia for the Grand Prix so Eddie said come to Leipzig as a return favour. Who won that one !!)

Boys departed for an hours leg stretching at 9.45am - Back at 11.00am for shower before a light lunch then its on the Troop Carrier at 12.45 for transit to Stadium which is approx 10 miles from Hotel.

Watching them from distance, there does seem to be an excellent team spirit around them - Plenty of laughing and joking BUT as soon as Uwe says something it all stops immediatley and they become the professionals they are.

    Buffet breakfast was superb.

Mr Mark Chapman is here to report on matters and he is joined by Mr Farnham Bee to take the photo's

Weather is very pleasant - Slightly overcast with a light breeze. Temp about 65 degrees F but forecast to around 72/75

Yes that Williams guy is Mike Coughlan l expect he was Chief designer for Mclaren untill he was involved in the Ferrarri spy scandal.I had the pleasure of his company back in the MA era,he's a life long bees fan and good bloke.

Brentford:- Moore, O'Connor, Redwood, Dean, Craig, Reeves, Diagouraga, Douglas, Donaldson, Tsoumou, Forrester. Subs: Gounet, Taylor, Mawson, Legge, Forshaw, Dallas, Oyeleke, Saunders, Weston,

So Tsoumou did go, happy about that. Also pleased to see Forrester start.
