Made it in the end after twice being taken,in different taxi's,to the wrong Ramada hotel!

BBQ was good, had a few beers in the sunshine with some proper football supporters, although I think there were a few hangovers from the previous night!

Coach was late, pretty unforgivable given that we hit no traffic at all....they just underestimated how long it would take.

Possibly the most poorly organised match I have ever attended. After arriving at the ground ten minutes late,we then faced another ten in the que to get in.

One tiny hatch to get beers in,we were not allowed in their main bar unfortunatly, presumably because we were English.

No club shop,so couldn't get any memoribilia.

Match was poor from our point of view.We didn't create much and really should have lost.Their goal was questioned by some but I thought it was over the line.Oh and they were a right bunch of dirty feckers, often going in late and hard.

Thought Moore was excellent in goal second half.

So ups and downs for the day,the real highlight was our support, fantastic but mental!

"In conjunction with The Ramada Hotel Leipzig, Schongauer Strasse, 39 Leipzig D04329 - where the team will be based when first arriving in Leipzig, the following has been arranged for supporters who would like to avail themselves of coach transportation to Stadion am Wasserturm, Turmstrasse, 08468 Reichenbach, where The Bees take on FC Erzgebirge Aue that evening in a match that kicks off at 6pm."

Just out of interest, who missed the chance in the 84th minute? Reports say it was Clayton, but he had apparently been substituted after 60 mins, and no report of him coming back on.

Really pleased with my Google translator. Another perfect one:

The FC Erzgebirge has played the penultimate pre-season friendly match to 1:1. Opponents of the violets was the night the team from the British third division Brentford FC. Both goals in this game fell in the first half of the game. The Londoners went through a penalty by Simon Moore changed hands (16) in the lead. A little later came the violets by Halil Savran (24) to compensate. Before and especially after the break, the team earned the head coach Karsten Baumann, a number of good chances, so by Ronny King (photo below), Guido Kocer, Marc Hensel and Nicolas Hoefler. All options were unfortunately missed. The game against Brentford was held in Reichenbach just over 700 spectators.

It was Antonio German. A miskick that ricocheted off the Aue defender and narrowly over.

Thanks but er ... perhaps it was Tsoumou ?? ( Donaldson (sub Tsoumou 60 mins)). (Oyeleke might have been a possibility, except he came on after the miss).

I believe both German and Farid missed the squad due to knocks (hoping they'll be fit for Friday).

I'm flying out 2moro too - I've done my own research but are there any recommendations for pubs? Have Bees taken over any particular drinking establishment for the week?

Just got back. Absolute amazing time out there for two games!! City centre Irish bar called Kildear (sp) two nights ago was about 30 of us there!! Great scenes, songs being sung, absolute laugh. Lots of bars and restaurants in the city centre of Leipzig amazing place, really nice great experience.

Well this is the problem with watching friendlies in foreign countries with no names on backs, and no access to twitter for team sheets.

The guy who missed was big, black, and not Clayton or Manny. I'm pretty sure he played in the first game too, where people in the stands were calling him Antonio. These people had had a few though
