Mine were two similarly lower league-esque moments. The petulant throw in taker and the "hilarious" ruse to get the ref to see if Dams had spotted the ball correctly from a corner.
Indeed. We seem to get home fans thinking they are taking the piss singing about our fans sitting down away which I take proudly as a sign we look after our own no matter their age
From what I saw Billy was in the first few rows behind the goal which isn't a great view. Maybe he tried to bunk in elsewhere and got short shrift from the person whose seat it was? :fishing:
I think there is. Chelsea don't really play with wingers do Aaron may be better as a defensive option.
Having said that they are so open down the flanks Michael may be the choice to expose them the other way. What a world when we have so many options!
Home in time for the last minute of Tuesday to expire. The Lizzie Line addition since we last visited provides a valuable additional option out of dodge!
I winced after his first challenge saw him limp away but after that I thought he was an important part of settling us down to ensure we saw the game out. Having him able to play minutes as a defensive midfielder will help limit the minutes people like Vitaly have to play in that role.
We picked a team to conserve energy for Friday that should have had enough to get through and that's what happened. I thought we progressed the ball well without being incisive when we got to the final 3rd but didn't do it in long enough spells to put them out of the game.
For most of the game...
I didn't expect Rico to be the sort of player to age into being a centre back and I still don't expect to. However he didn't let anyone down and his old fashioned, last ditch moments saved us today
