No idea what's happened but it would appear to be between you and Paypal (e.g. has your card that you used to pay via Paypal expired?)This is what was sent in an email

Ahhhhh, BMAC no longer use Paypal!ok - re-added payment type - no option to use paypal.
Can I recommend the STO, as was very easy to set up, especially if you do internet banking. If we are to fund Nanas PL-ready yacht, then would far prefer that 25percent doesn’t get eaten up in charges along the way. And if we are to spend £30m on transfer targets he may need to chip in at some point !If you want to use BMAC rather than set-up at STO then here is how to change your membership from Paypal
Ok finally got signed up for a monthly!![]()

The Grapevine has existed getting on for some 25 years now. The costs (which include professional hosting, bandwidth, backup storage, email services, software licences and other costs) have been proviwww.buymeacoffee.com
I've been running this forum for over 20 years now. As well as time spent actually running it, I have also paid for the not inconsiderable sums of running-it over that period. This includes: hosting of the servers; bandwidth charges; storage; off-site back-ups costs; email services; software licenses; software support costs. All those services are provided professionally which you will have noticed from the exceptional reliability of the GPG.
I've never asked for any assistance for costs as during that time fans were either throwing coins into buckets, donating money via monthly Standing Orders to Bees United, taking out Bees United Loan Notes and doing whatever else was required to keep the club afloat. After that, Matthew has been pumping in over £100m and it seemed churlish to ask for money when Matthew was parting with so much cash. During the entirety of this time the GPG has remained (despite some 'attractive offers') ad-free. A concious decision that I believe has provided you with a vastly better experience than otherwise. A quick look at other forums will demonstrate that.
Additionally, the GPG has provided fans with
and we would certainly look to continue to provide similar activities.
- Lockdown Zoom Calls with Phil Giles, Thomas Frank, Jon Varney, Kevin O'Connor, Sam Saunders and Martin Allen
- Hours of footage and thousands of pictures of the new stadium during construction via the Brentford FC Drone;
- Provided you with the ability to put questions to Matthew, Thomas and others via our regular interviews and meet-ups.
- The @bfcgpg Twitter account
Now that the club is financially stable (thanks to you-know-who and our recent promotion), I am asking for some entirely voluntarily donations to defray the costs.
Nothing will change with regards to anyone's access to the GPG regardless of if you decide to support the running costs of it or not.
You can send us money directly to (ideally via a recurring payment) to:

Alternatively, Buy Me a Coffee is our platform for donations. Please consider setting-up a "Membership" - which is a recurring monthly payment from £2 to £20. Otherwise you can "Support" us by purchasing 1 or more coffees at £2 a time on an one-off basis. For £2 monthly payment please avoid using Paypal as they absorb 25% of such smaller transactions. Consider a annual payment instead, or using Stripe, or a recurring payment as mentioned above)

Thank you.
Banana, why hat is this pronounced with:Thanks @Pixelator and everyone else that has contributed to the GPG over the past year.
For those of you that contributed annually this time last year, please consider renewing your support. I know that some of you will have done this via BuyMeACoffee last year, but they've changed the way they work and dropped one of their payment options, so if you did pay via BMAC, can you please check if what you expected to happen, happened please?
For those wishing to make direct bank transfers (which also means that BMAC and Stripe don't both take their cuts...) bank details are

Many thanks again, and hopefully we'll be able to bring you some good CE news very soon.
I think the ideal formula might be some repeat of the Covid interviews where you pick a Brentford stalwart eg Andy Scott or Martin Allan. Ie do this on a highly irregular and occasional basis, and collect questions in advance. Quality not quantity. Maybe include as guests Bees fans who have given great service at one time or other. Perhaps other members of club staff, if the club will allow - eg Sally Stephens, who I know previously worked on the stadium project before her current fan based role. Thanks to everyone that is contributing. I would re-iterate that no-one need to contribute and that you mustn't contribute if you can't afford it especially as there is a cost of living challenge going on.
One thing that has been raised by several people is that they would like to see some sort of podcast as part of the GPG offering. It's something that has been under light consideration but we are keen to not duplicate anything similar to Beesotted. Not only that, but once you start you can't stop (except if you are a manufactured band such as the Punjabees of course).
I'm keen to hear views on whether me and others talking crap with others would be of interest. Views please.
My initial reaction was "no thanks", but the kind of high quality guest based podcast such as above would be high value. But the regular format of a few "lads" shooting the sh*te, no thanks.I think the ideal formula might be some repeat of the Covid interviews where you pick a Brentford stalwart eg Andy Scott or Martin Allan. Surely @Banana will have sufficient revenue to be sat on his yacht now and talk about football?Does the world need yet more people sat in a room talking about football?
I imagine it would be something like the excellent Frost Tapes podcast, with Banana starting each episode with, “hello, good evening, and welcome…”My initial reaction was "no thanks", but the kind of high quality guest based podcast such as above would be high value. Hope my contribution, which I had confirmed this week helped. In the meantime, can you get on and donate please. There's a dinner with abee tomorrow!

When you pay by card it asked for your postcode. Are you filling-in that field?I just tried (twice) to pay £20 by card, but I think it was rejected both times? I've either paid £40 or nothing (from the link in the first post on the thread - using 'support'). Please advise.
