2 yrs to run. We would have renewed mid season if other examples are a guidewhen's his contract up ? Is there any noise on him not wanting to sign an extention ?

he hasnt signed what he hasnt been offered ?2 yrs to run. We would have renewed mid season if other examples are a guide
Agreed. Contact ends in 2028 with no option. Based on how we do business (ie the recent new contracts for KA, Igor and Vitaly), if we were going to offer a new contract (which I assume we would) this would have been done by now.2 yrs to run. I think this is correct.Agreed. Contact ends in 2028 with no option. Based on how we do business (ie the recent new contracts for KA, Igor and Vitaly), if we were going to offer a new contract (which I assume we would) this would have been done by now.
If there is no news of a new contract by season end, a sale is inevitable as we aren’t going to let Schade head towards 1 year left on his contract.
It's more the aggressive, sh*tty tone that comes with it. A little like your sarcastic post to me just now. What ? ! You mean some people disagree with your view, on a forum?
Madness
Perhaps try not to take it so personally or seriously, this genuinely is laughably unimportant stuff that we spout on here. It's more the aggressive, sh*tty tone that comes with it. A little like your sarcastic post to me just now.
I believe it has been done and he's not signing it. So one more chance to see him at the Gtech.Agreed. Contact ends in 2028 with no option. I wouldn't put money on that if I were you!!!I believe it has been done and he's not signing it. So one more chance to see him at the Gtech.
I’d be amazed if he signs a new deal. If the club have a choice between selling him with 2 years left or Thiago or Kayode who are both on long term contracts I think it’s an easy choice.I wouldn't put money on that if I were you!!!
He would’ve signed an extended contract by now if he was going to. For sure it will have been offered repeatedly. I’m 99% certain he has agreed to leave in the summer for a top German team: think Bayern or Dortmund…possibly Leverkusen. Over the years we’ve had a few players in August who we know are going to leave before the end of the window and they’ve just not been able to replicate their form of previous years once their head is elsewhere. My guess is that exactly the same thing is happening with Kevin. I’ll be amazed if he pulls on a Bees shirt again after the last game of the season. It wouldn’t surprise me if we end up in a situation like we did with Bryan last summer where he’s wanted by a club, he wants to go but there are a painful few weeks until Phil‘s valuation is met.
…and that is exactly why I worry this could become a protracted saga where he will end up choosing between playing ball and throwing himself into pre season à la Bryan or following the example of he who cannot be mentionedI tend to agree that he's as good as gone. We won't just sit there and let his resale value diminish into next season. We might have a problem if he specifically wants a return home though. I'm sure we'll be looking for £40-50m for him and, Bayern aside, Bundesliga clubs just don't have that kind of money (or if they do, they don't splash it all in one transfer fee). Even Dortmund and Leverkusen have never paid much above £30m.
I think we would be looking to sign a player in his position regardless so maybe wouldn't matter so much this close season.…and that is exactly why I worry this could become a protracted saga where he will end up choosing between playing ball and throwing himself into pre season à la Bryan or following the example of he who cannot be mentioned
Haha! My thoughts are that the replacement is already in the fold, and may have come on as a sub on Saturday…it would be a shame as I thought he'd become a superstar with his pace . Nelson it is next season then
Ah man, what could've been! Luckily we will get a hefty fee and make a profit on him.I believe it has been done and he's not signing it. So one more chance to see him at the Gtech.
I cant see Aaron taking the LW place......................Haha! My thoughts are that the replacement is already in the fold, and may have come on as a sub on Saturday…
I wouldn't be gutted to lose him at the right price. He's the only regular starter who has been consistently under-performing on his potential recently. As KLP is looking increasingly likely to stay as a FB next season I think you could argue that we need two left-sided forwards for next season.I believe it has been done and he's not signing it. So one more chance to see him at the Gtech.
As far as I am concerned there is no way KLP will remain in the LB position long term and his future is as WB.I wouldn't be gutted to lose him at the right price. As KLP is looking increasingly likely to stay as a FB next season I think you could argue that we need two left-sided forwards for next season.
More chance of Lord Admiral than Reissit would be a shame as I thought he'd become a superstar with his pace . Nelson it is next season then
Ajer?Haha! My thoughts are that the replacement is already in the fold, and may have come on as a sub on Saturday…
Ffs , STOPit would be a shame as I thought he'd become a superstar with his pace . Nelson it is next season then
Because he still takes players away from the spaces that KLP can get into.
If KLP played LW like some are clamouring for, you wouldnt see 50% of his current attacking output - Schade is a proper team player, maybe he is in an attacking funk, but he is still working his balls off for the team and his teammates.
Even if a lot of our fans dont respect him and his abilities, opposition coaches and players definitely do
I think Dango and KLP for the first two goals on Saturday showed what I think we miss from him. When he gets the ball near the byeline you don't ever feel he's going to make a chance happen.Watching two players in Ndiaye and Doku tonight perhaps highlights what were missing from him.
Doku had his one good game out of 7 by all accounts.Watching two players in Ndiaye and Doku tonight perhaps highlights what were missing from him.
Even if we judge Kev by that standard, he's due one.Doku had his one good game out of 7 by all accounts.
Usually just runs into the nearest player
Doku will take on his man 10 times in a game, unfortunately that’s not kevs game anymore.Doku had his one good game out of 7 by all accounts.

If they don't cough up he won't be going.... End of storyWould love to see him sign a new deal but resigned to him going and not sure we will get a great price esp if he goes to Germany as don't think they spend loads unless it's Bayern
It's already been mentioned that he's been offered a new contract but hasn't signed it so it's not quite as easy a negotiation as you suggest. If they don't cough up he won't be going.... End of story
You not heard of PG??
Agree as Schade knows he's down to the last two years and we realistically need to sell him now. We got lucky with the wissa transfer but got less than we deserved from Toney and Raya .It's already been mentioned that he's been offered a new contract but hasn't signed it so it's not quite as easy a negotiation as you suggest.
why do they need to replenish ?I wonder of Bournemouth who he scored a hattrick against and need to replenish might bite?
They look like they might be playing in Europe next seasonwhy do they need to replenish ?
I doubt they only watch players when they play against themI wonder of Bournemouth who he scored a hattrick against and need to replenish might bite?
Barcelona want Kroupi. It would be a lovely way to start their window….why do they need to replenish ?
Cant see that happening. Sounds like hes after a "big move" and maybe one back to Germany.I wonder of Bournemouth who he scored a hattrick against and need to replenish might bite?
His second hat-trick for us on Sat. would do. Instant hero and a contract extension.I think this is correct.
He has played his part, no doubt and we probably will get our money back on him.
Some glimpses of what might have been, but for me, I don't think he has reached the heights that it was expected he might. Previous injuries aside, I think this has been a disappointing season for him overall.
(Cue scoring against Citeh now!)
Lots of what ifs and maybes being said on here, but like I said previously KA appears to be happy with what he is contributing on the pitch otherwise I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be starting every game and with that in mind it makes me fairly confident the club will be doing all they can to make sure he staysPerhaps as both his strike partners from last year, Bryan and Snake, moved on he feels he needs to do the same. Perhaps his agent is pushing him in this direction. Who knows? I'd be sorry to see him go.
