So now you are comparing a league 1 player to Pele.

You don't think he was an extreme?

But in answer, he was 18 when he played in the WC for Brazil.

The kids played more PL games than L1 games

My daughter was at primary school with boy who’s been at Arsenal now 10 years, he got pro contact a couple of years ago, was supposedly being fast tracked but had seen the 3 I mention jump above him. Finished last season on loan to Crawley. For every one that gets an opportunity they’ll be hundreds who don’t and get released.

I think this window is all about improving the quality of the first team rather than swelling the ranks. If Jeremy ticks those boxes (to be fair I don’t know much about him) then great, if he’s more of a Donovan level type acquisition then I think a bidding war with Arsenal is unlikely.
