Well no, but a simple 'we've raised this with the club' wouldn't hurt to see, especially when at least one person has said they've paid more than they should due to the unclear ticketing website as well as numerous others having difficulties around renewing. Or a 'thanks for letting us know, we'll feedback to the club'.....
I will reply to the ticket office's email telling me to phone in with the info I posted last night as getting HB Jnr's membership doesn't sort the issue for my fellow fans, but of course even as a member of BIAS my influence is far far lower than BIAS themselves cajoling the club to get this fixed asap (I'll also cc in the
[email protected] email address assuming that's the best one to include), especially as I'm just replying to a member of the ticket office team, not any higher level of authority.
At the moment this smacks of the club being happy to rinse a few extra quid from supporters along with the ridiculously petty transaction fee that BIAS haven't publicly addressed, which is one of those things I do expect BIAS to raise an issue with. My impression, apologies if I'm incorrect, is that BU went to ground once they'd got a seat on the board, you don't hear anything from them anymore on anything whereas to their credit BIAS generally do engage with the fan base. Just my personal opinion but I don't see BU as any sort of fans reps now, couldn't even tell you if anyone involved in BU posts on here.
Of course I don't expect them to oppose absolutely everything as picking your battles is far wiser, but the club hitting the pockets of Brentford fans for petty things like transaction fees and collecting merchandise from the club shop (!) imho should be addressed by fans reps before they become ever larger fees when the club feel confident they can get away with it without opposition.
