Must be 7 or 8 countries since the WCF got serious, last week. A natural break for all concerned, whether successful or not.
Still seems shocking mind, that Germany’s german coach has gone before England’s german coach. I’m assuming the clamour around their demise, meant he had to do the honourable thing. (Usually, Germany don’t sack their national coach. You don’t have to if they’re winning all the time.)

All good stuff, innit?

If he had picked any other club, I would have no problems believing that he would do quite well ...

But Forests fires the manager the first time he doesn't win the internal "who kisses ass the best"

It depends. He is an excellent manager, and he is not stupid, and he knows what he is going into. He will have greater resources afforded to him that were not available at Palace. I personally think they will do very well, especially if the big man upstairs lets Glasner get on with it.

I’m sure there’ll be a honeymoon period but given his track record of not falling out with owners isn’t great this will crash and burn soon enough

I hope so, but potentially Glasner could be really good for Forest. Lets hope the owner reverts to type sooner rather than later.

Cristiano Ronaldo to be the next Portugal Player-Head Coach now that Roberto Martinez has stepped down?
He’d back himself, but would the squad play for Ronaldo, or be annoyed by it being all about him?

Squad would be quite annoyed (get an indistinct feeling that he’s not too popular there to begin with) but he’ll attempt to (and probably would manage to) convince his paymasters that it’s not him thats the problem but them simply being jealous of him

They are not totally incompetent, but they are not well run to a level comparable with us.

Surely it was clear Ronaldo was the Head Coach through out the WC. Martinez never had any input that was not already agreed with Ronaldo.

Sounds like he fell out with Jody Brown (Director of Football). It's probably all about £££, as I'd guess he wanted to bring a few ex chums.
