Wimbledon 2026
Yes, Swan was pretty impressive, although her R1 opponent wasn't a big-hitter and she'll probably be playing Keys in R2, who is currently a break up in set 3, and who will be a different proposition, although she can have the occasional off day and has a fairly poor record at Wimbledon.Yeah Swan played very well and has been moving on up for a few months now. I’m assuming that Boulter develops the Brit disease of freezing at SW19 that so many have before her, as she seems more than capable elsewhere, although admittedly hasn’t gone very deep in any Slam.
Looking around the grounds at scores it might be up to the remaining 2 or 3 men yet to start to try and drag us to some level of respectability. If not the press and the armchair fans will have a field day.
As for Boulter, you're right, she's done well on grass elsewhere, winning Nottingham twice and reaching the semis at Queen's this year, but she seems to have a mental block or something when it comes to SW19!
