Bees overseas - How much to see the Bees on your screen in 26-27?

DAZN are my only legitimate option to watch every Bees game in Spain.
In 2024, the price shot up and they dropped the domestic cups. Our guys in Australia and Czechia were clearly getting better deals, including Champions League for less.

Then last year they “upgraded” me to Premium without any warning. It includes F1 and NBA, stuff I have little interest in and wouldn’t dream of paying extra for.

Now they’re planning to increase my subscription by another 48%!!
But it turns out there’s still a Fútbol only plan for 219.99€ a year, hidden away on the help page.

So if you use DAZN, check your profile for when and how much they’re going to charge you, and see if there’s a better plan for you.

And if you have a different TV or streaming service, how much will you be paying to watch all the Premier League in 2026-27?

I was paying AUD150 a year for every EPL match with Optus Sport. But Stan took over and now it’s AUD37 a month (AUD444 per year), but there’s a lot of additional non-sporting content and every tennis grand slam.

IPTV for me. £300 per year. Get all UK terrestrial channels, Sky, Bein, TNT sports, Supersport, DAZN, Stan (amongst others) all EPL, EFL, National League, Scottish Premier and championship games
On top of that, countless movies, TV series (UK and US), documentaries etc
Had it for around 12 years now. Never miss any sport (unsocialable times permitting) but no Bees games missed, regardless of time

I think Stan has been much better than Optus tho, I always felt I was going to get a spoiler clicking on Optus, even after 4 years of complaining to them that they’re ruining the games with their garbage headlines

About £60 per month here in Norway for the legal one. And that’s probably why IPTV has gotten popular here

Viaplay Total is 336 € a year for me, but that is not a normal price at all as I have a very good discount on this. Normal price is 551 € a year. My current price is valid until October 2027 so I have to consider my options after the forthcoming season.

Yeah, spoilers make a mockery of being able to watch matches when you want.
Mexico v England, if England had been the "home" team I would immediately have seen a red card next to Quansah's name. On the other hand, knowing (from the length of the video) that there wasn't going to be extra time may have saved my life in those last few minutes.

Kin el, what IPTV do you have?
I know "a man" that does that for £50 a year!!!

Tend to sort this out the week before we start (not sure if that's their fault or mine 🤔 ). Quick look on their site says it's about £8 a month for the most basic package that includes all Premier league games. I think i get an annual sub too which tends to be "two months free", so £80 for the year?

From 7 August 2026, the monthly fee for your Optus Sport on Stan subscription will increase from $9.99 to $12.99.

so $155.88 per year (£82 at todays F/X rate)

They’re still calling it Optus Sport??? And you can’t buy it unless you also have a Stan subscription so you need to include the cost of that.

I don't have a Stan subscription so don't need to factor that in. As a legacy customer I didn't subscribe to Stan...

They didn’t give me that option. I feel cheated.

They gave me a free 'trial' subscription which I let lapse as soon as it ended. I only get the Premier League games though, nothing else, so its not the full Stan Sport - I don't have time for anything else anyway so I'm not fussed!

I thought it was a decent deal! Ah well, it works for me

Peacock premium is $10.99/month = $110 for the season here in the USA.

Though I do receive a free $20/month free for using Amex on digital services … so free?

Yes, but you also need access to USA on basic cable for when Brentford is on a national broadcast. For those of us who have cut the cord, it's an additional cost.

Making matters worse, you need ESPN plus for the FA cup, and CBS/Paramount for the league cup.

I can get by with just subscribing for a month here or there, but I've definitely missed some tournament matches.

All in, I estimate it more around $200 a year in addition to a cable/live TV streaming service.

Good shout, I’m usually at a bar for the games on basic cable - add the Guinness expenses to the $200/year

We have YouTube TV and Peacock at the house, so most games I just watch there. Sometimes I'll go to a bottle shop down the road that opens at 10am on Saturdays for the early games, and they usually show the Cup games on Paramount+.

Although now that I think about it, that bottle shop owner is a big West Ham fan... hopefully he doesn't just put a bunch of Championship games on the TVs this coming season. 🤣

I don't dispute that at all... But 6-7am. I'm not mad, I'm just impressed.
It's enough of a routine that the two times I've been over to England for a game, I get annoyed/impatient that I have to wait around until 3pm for the game (or until noon to hit the pub). lol

It's actually been part of why I've enjoyed Brentford so much. I can wake up on a Saturday or Sunday morning, sit with a cup of coffee, watch the match. I actually don't like the days we are the late match, because it says into the middle of the day.
