I’ve just reactivated our league on ESPN, we’ll see who returns. 10 of us are GPG members, and we have a couple of interlopers from Southport and Sunderland. I think 9 of us have been there from the start, and we’ve only had about 6 changes of team owner in 15 years. And vacancies don’t tend to get advertised on the GPG as
@SC usually has a mate who wants to join! So there are no toes to get stepped on.
I’ve wondered if there’s enough interest for another league of Bees fans, but never had the time or energy to do anything about it as I’m also in 2 huge dynasty leagues, like 53-man rosters and starting 22 players full offence and defence!
Good luck with getting your Yahoo league going. Of course you can start small - I think 8 teams is the realistic minimum - and build up from there. And a word of warning - the draft is the best bit of the season but it's also the most time-consuming. You need to dedicate several hours to preparing your draft board and doing some mock drafts. Going into a live online draft unprepared rarely turns out well.
My playoff fantasy game will remain open to all GPGers, although next year I’m planning to open it up to everyone I play fantasy with cos I’m tired of winning it every year.
BTW,
@SC, I’m thinking of going to a couple of Southport games in Feb ‘27, in Southport Pete’s honour. Including a derby at Morecambe. #fisticuffs
