From most to least likely IMO it's

Furo & Eyestone - since we've already heard rumblings
Nunes - didn't have a great loan at Swansea tbh
Ji-Soo - injury disrupted loan, lots of CBs ahead of him
Frederick - as above but can also cover Rightback
Arthur - seems to be the starboy in that position
Meghoma - natural Rico deputy, could still struggle for minutes if KLP or Hickey preferred
Konak - great loan at championship level, looks ready
Milambo - yet to see much from him, just come back from an injury, signed as an unambiguous first teamer with proper European club experience
Schuster - just got here

Reckon nunes will be an option for us next season, though it might depend on the intentions for KLP. Can always keep them around and reassess in January.

Yes, I went to Oxford UTD v Wrexham at the end of last season, and all the U's fans I spoke to at the game raved about him too. Indeed, he was MoM for the Wrexham game even though he was taken off after 70 minutes.

You've also got to consider how attractive they are to other clubs. Some of the early names on your list have a pretty low profile and we might struggle to find loans for them at what we consider an appropriate level.

If BFC have a higher opinion of their level than the transfer market does that still doesn't necessarily mean our bench/B team is the better place for their development than the best team that will take them is. Given that we have no trouble sending our B teamers to L1/L2/Scotland on the regular, I don't see us struggling to find loans for are first teamers that are a level up from that

Most of the players in the list would find loan clubs I agree. But not necessarily at the level we would want to give them the experience that would improve their careers. Finding strong championship clubs ready to give inexperienced wannabes serious game time isn't that easy. It's certainly possible but we can't just snap our fingers and make it happen.

All I'm saying really is that it takes two to tango!

Assuming no more first team departures, I would be looking for loans for all of these except for Milambo, Schuster, and Fredrick.

I was a little concerned when I saw the links to the LB's though.

I reckon we will keep Arthur, Konak, Furo & Fredrick around the club.

Don't see us keeping more than 2 of the U21 defenders (not counting Schuster who will obviously stay regardless), if we keep one of Arthur or Ji-Soo, then Fredrick will be surplus to requirements in that position, if we keep Fredrick he can pick up his minutes at RB which frees up Hickey to cover LB more, so Meghoma will likely struggle for minutes, and conversely if we keep Meghoma then Hickey will presumably play more at RB and there's fewer minutes for Fredrick.

I guess which 2 would depend on who's impressing in Portugal and who has good clubs enquiring about a loan

I agree central midfield is our Achilles heel at the moment. I think our biggest ‘marquee’ should be in this position - and have thought so for a couple of seasons a beast of a midfielder who can control games would take us to another level. Unfortunately the market has the same view and appears to be paying £100m plus for these guys at the moment…that said PG and the team must have a collection of alternatives we can buy for £20m.

Looks like someone was listening and addressed it pretty quickly too. Thanks PG…I’ll be sure to send more suggestions in the post when ready!

23 year old striker winger and maybe on his way to the Football League this summer.

Saw him a few times for the Wood, including at Wembley. Very good player at that level. Could certainly play at League 1 / Championship level, I think

We really need someone happy to make driving runs forward from midfield, ala Josh. Clearly it might actually BE Josh, but I think at this stage that is all that’s missing unless someone leaves or stars align with a mid/long term target to bring in earlier than planned.

532 is a less attacking formation.

Don't think we need LW or LB. Henry, Hickey and KLP are all good enough to be starting LB, and Schade, KLP and Anthony to start at LW. Unless some important players are leaving I think the squad is rammed.

He’s both! Very much an all rounder that can nick a ball like Norgaard but drive through the lines, spray balls across the pitch and dribble past players.
