Leeds (A) 1-1

Leeds away now Sunday 2 o’clock a
Has the Leeds game on Sun 30th sold out. I can't get through to the ticketing office, can't find any info on the Brentford ticketing site and was hoping to take my 8 year old grandson to his first Brentford game. My uncle got me hooked supporting Brentford when I was 7. We live near to Leeds and it would be the obvious first game to take him to but I can't get any info from anywhere. I should be very grateful for any assistance.

I talked to the ticket office about this yesterday, they are waiting on Leeds for pricing info etc. Hoping to be on sale early next week.

If we were playing Leeds in the Championship, history tells us that we would have had to pay twice the price for their away tickets than we do now, now that we're both in the Premier League.

Tight northern b......ds..
Very generous £1 discount for over 64's.

I know it's only 30p, but I thought the cap was £30.00?
It is. This is a admin fee / card charge type thing I think.

But not sure if there is a way to avoid the 30p so I take your point !

Edit: I’ve found a way to avoid it !!

Leeds (A) 1-1

Correct.

I got Logan to buy mine but only transferred him £30 instead of £30.30

In many ways it’s the perfect victimless crime
Er, except that there is obviously a victim, and you named him.

Can only advise Sir Logan to transfer the ticket to you 54 seconds after the match has started. Therefore, you’ll miss the 1% of the 90 mins you didn’t pay for.
Can’t do the time. Don’t do the crime ;)

It's an interesting question, what is to stop a club (not necessarily Brentford) charging a £20 admin fee?

Don;t Brentford get 5% (?) of the sale in any case?

3 bought, felt really difficult to get to the right page, had to go via the notification in the app to get in

Ticketing was the wonkiest for me it has been for ages.

I saw someone say about tying this in with a visit to York City the day before. Might have been hard to get a ticket but their owners’ actions have probably made fhat easier. Anyway tickets likely to be on soon for home fans soon. Exeter ones already on sale.

Anyway, back to Leeds really excited to be going to this one.

Yes, I am staying two nights in York and planning to go to that game.

Anyone had similar issue with Leeds away tickets ?:

'Had trouble getting Leeds tickets. It won’t let me order 3 and assign to people.'

Leeds (A) 1-1

+1 yeah, had to go a circuitous route to get to the selling page - the app was saying “coming soon” for me, despite the window being open. Also, how many categories of tickets are needed for 2k fans 🤷‍♂️

Just got to figure what route I’m getting to/from Yaaaarkshire.

Anyway, you 🐝🐝🐝🐝

Leeds (A) 1-1

I get an error message when attempting to assign 3 tickets -

"Oops! We couldn't check you out... You have exceeded client quota. You must remove some seats to proceed."

This happens on both mobile and laptop. I have logged out and back in again several times, removed tickets from the basket and added them again. I don't know what else to try. Never had such issues previously.

Does anybody have any idea on how to overcome this?

Resolved and tickets sorted.

I can't help feeling we get a rough deal compared to the likes of Leeds in terms of ticketing numbers. The rule is 2,000 minimum or 10% of capacity if the ground holds less than 20,000. Elland Road is almost exactly double the size of the GTech but we literally get 200 more tickets than them. I realise we don't always sell out our allocation but the rules should at least make things a bit fairer.

We are entitled to 3,000 but I doubt we will take up that offer.

Allocation: 2,018 - Based on what's on sale, looks like we've only taken the upper again, with home fans in the lower.
Hope the segregation is better this year, some of the seats at the front of our section were only separated by a walk way from the Leeds fans. At least Andrews et al can give it the biggun in front of the MOTs when he comes over to applaud the away fans after a convincing win.

Loads left - as above - buying two tickets was painful! hard to navigate, timed out, computer says no......... very odd

Thought it might just be me.
Went into a panic even though I knew they’d be over a thousand left when I ordered yesterday.

F*** sake this is hard work buying Leeds tickets

Just looking on the ticketing site and sales for Leeds away seem to be slow to say the least.

Maybe the club should be doing a bit more to push sales e.g. emailing ST holders and members saying it's still available, or pushing the game on the website and social media, or maybe laying on subsidised coaches as train travel seems to be a big issue for this one.

First away game of the season and we should be selling it out IMO but look a long way from doing so at the moment.

shocking sales for a bank holiday weekend in August .

Small club again

And yet the world and his wife tell us they should be in window 1 for Bournemouth...

Except they didn't. Some were surprised and cross, most others were surprised and got it. And, if you make some hefty assumptions from the figures posted on Wednesday night, that might be because there were only about 700 tickets made available in Tier 1. Dunno how that compares with previous years.

As for Leeds, why would people think that being on a Summer B/H weekend would boost figures? It's been clear that many people go on holiday in August and the virtual guarantee that the trains are going to be screwed is just a big downer.

Anyway, like you, I'll be at both.

Yes I'm thinking of the people that get cross and see it as a slight on their years of support. We've had several versions of the discussion over the last 18 months but a theme is everyone is a loyal fan when Bournemouth and Fulham come around. What about when it's Villa, Leeds, Man C etc, all good chances to boost points too.

Im not sure whether you mean we only gave access to about 700 people in tranche 1 based on sales alone - if only 700 tickets were on sale at first, we possibly release the block in the corner last if that's what Bournemouth asked us to do. All four blocks were on sale by the final hour of tranche 1 at least.

I just wish we took more people to away games, and anyone that now does slightly awkward away games deserves a reward for helping our current support ie being able to climb to the top of the ladder.

I think the logic that a bank holiday is good would be because you can go to a Sunday fixture (usually regarded as awkward and annoying timing) and get home late or stay over that night without worrying about work in the morning.

See you in Yorkshire 🍻
