Shows the money involved when you consider only 3 clubs have only had 1 season up. Not sure about Barnsley & Swindon, but Blackpool also lost the play off final for an immediate return.

Swindon got relegated again in 1994/1995.

This will almost certainly change at the end of this season.

Saying that, I’m sure Chelsea will back themselves to win the Championship in 2025.

We have had 9.
So 21 behind.

QPR 23 seasons. So after this season we'll be 13 behind them.

We're 48th in the "all time seasons in the top flight" from 1888-2024

We go clear of Bristol C and Swansea this season but still 2 behind Oldham, Bradford and Grimsby after May.

If you're just counting the current spell in the PL we are now up to 12th on this list, following West Ham and Wolves's relegations.

Ironically they used two words where one would have been much clearer.
It’s not how many seasons it’s it’s how long.
Past visits prior to this stint clearly don’t count.

Hadn’t realised that Palace’s current spell in the Premier League is approaching 15 years. Graphic above helps make it clear why the Club sees them as somewhat of a role model. Also that their FA Cup and Conference League success, and consecutive seasons in Europe, were over a decade in the making.

Know we haven’t won anything yet but having already got to the latter stages of EFL Cup and close to European qualifying positions in the League, feels like we’re ahead of their schedule. Maybe more on Brighton’s trajectory?

.....the graphic however just says 'how many seasons has your team been in the Premier league', which is not the same as what you are saying., which if I'm reading it correctly, is 'how long has your team been in the Premier league'

However, I don't really trust anything the Premier league puts out, bearing in mind that, & I think it was the Euros in 2024, they claimed that we had only 3 goalkeepers representing the club (Flekken, Strakosha and Valdimarsson from memory?) and insisted, even when I pulled them up on it, that Raya was an Arsenal player, when he'd only been on loan with them, and the Euros - or whatever the competition was called - started after 30th June and before Raya signed for them permanently

Related "my team's got more balls than your team" stat: I believe we need 57 goals to overtake QPR's PL goals.
