They've cancelled the shootout. Pretty confident of a win now.

I'm in London but it says the stream isn't available in my region so I found a dodgy stream online that's working if anyone else wants it.

You will be bombarded initially with pop ups, some may contain inappropriate content- just a warning. Just click the back button every time one comes up and EVENTUALLY it'll let you open the stream into full screen hopefully without interruption.
Thanks for that. Saved me renewing my VPN and the Portueguese commentary was quality.......goooooooooooooool

Hang on where’s this penalty shootout?

I’m sure the commentator said there’s be a penalty shootout at end regardless of result?

He did but then he said it was cancelled.

The stream has stopped before we lift the trophy! FFS.

Sorry but there's more questions than answers after that showing 😡.

For example, can we get tickets to the Balon D'or ceremony to watch Sangare collect his award next season? Will we wrap the Premier League up by March or April? and how exactly will Nico O'Reilly feel about losing his spot in the England team to KLP? So many bloody questions!

Okay, maybe getting ahead of myself but this is the best squad we've ever had and we are set up to have an exciting season. Can't wait for next week now.

Rather we’d saved those goals for the league :fishing:

Unplayable at times. Yes, I know it was just a friendly but the interplay and passing was quite breathtaking. Could easily have beeen a dozen.

Reminds me of the time we hit 7 at Exeter away in the early 80s the week after a Capital radio competition for the first team to reach a certain number of goals was won 😃

That's a lot of roaming data...

25gb abroad datas on my O2 contract which I assume was sufficient. If not it'll have been worth every penny they charge to watch such a sensational performance :owusu:

Some wonderful goals and the passing at times was sublime. We could have had another 2 or 3 easily even though our finishing was great. Kelleher also made some good saves, KLP put in a huge statement of a performance, Sangare is unreal, Thiago, Schade and Anthony look really dangerous and Janelt can have my babies as and when he's ready. Hope we take that performance and confidence in to the season.

Not sure what KA will make of that, he might have wanted a tougher challenge, at times we were walking about deciding who was going to score. First half was a very good performance, second half them just giving up.

Apologies if asked & answered already, but was that Frankfurt's 1st team? They were absolutely chuffing terrible!
It was pretty much the same line up, save for one or two, as in their other friendlies against foreign opposition rather than German amateur teams. If it wasn't their first team, that's a pretty bold pre-season strategy.

Some performance that, just so sharp going forwards and arguably should have had more!

Usually very critical of Kevin Schade but hats off to him today, he had a blinder. Hopefully it continues into the season.

Cannot wait for next week, even though I know it won’t be as easy as today was 🙌🏼

- Friendly matches shouldn't be overrated, but after such a 0:7 capitulation against Brentford, it's time to sharpen the senses. Preparation or not, a result like that must serve as a "wake-up call" internally. At a certain level, you can't just wave that off.

- Where do you even start today: defending the backline on set pieces? Duels in nearly every situation? Positional play on long balls? Penetrative power? Attitude/mentality? Further steps in the transfer market? The goalkeeper question continues to unsettle the environment, though Santos could only do something about one of the seven goals conceded. The glaring errors were made elsewhere. Still, after this game, there are plenty of topics surrounding #SGE.

- That was collectively far too weak over 90 minutes. But better today than on the 21st—and especially then on the 29th—of August. Now everyone can still make an impact. It would be bitter if Robin Koch were out long-term, because then they'd have to get even more active.

- Coach Adi Hütter knew upon his arrival that he has a lot of work ahead. He didn't warn for nothing after the friendly win against Hull City. His experience is helpful in this situation. I'm sure he'll put his finger on the wound in talks with sporting director Markus Krösche.

- And yet: There mustn't be any knee-jerk reactions or frantic scrambling now. That setbacks would come after this upheaval was—and is—clear. And SGE is coming off a year in which they won just 4 competitive games. Confidence has to build.

- So I don't think much of criticizing individual players here now and questioning everything. But the positions screaming for reinforcement are obvious: center-back, full-backs, attack. On the transfer market, a lot still needs to happen by September 1—and in both directions.

This lot beat Hull? Well that's a bit of good news, can't see them achieving much this season

Some terrific play and goals. But what was wrong with the PA? Couldn’t make out a thing. Normally very good.
