Kevin Schade (Roma + Saudi Arabia links)
So is Kevin moving, where are the links to the see these potential transfer. Title is misleading.
I don’t believe currently we have a ready made replacement at the club, he’s good in the air and a real goal threat. He was very good yesterday and unless we have a very good replacement lined up then we absolutely keep him .
And has become a bigger part of the defensive set up when defending in our half. Then if we get a chance to break his pace gets him up with others much quicker.I don’t believe currently we have a ready made replacement at the club, he’s good in the air and a real goal threat.
It’s a two-way street – if he makes himself one of the ‘first names on the team sheet’ players through consistent good performances, then the contract negotiations become less risk for both sides.if he turns in a performance like most weeks then we should hold onto him and try and get him signed to a new contract
Fully agree, will hopefully help Schade focus his mind on what he needs to do this season, with only 2 years remaining on his contract. It’s a two-way street – if he makes himself one of the ‘first names on the team sheet’ players through consistent good performances, then the contract negotiations become less risk for both sides.
erm, you clearly never saw St. Paul Stephenson play.Another £10m on the top of the previous £40m price tag after yesterday.
He’s a massive threat and clearly a confidence player.
Don’t remember any Brentford wide player of my lifetime being consistent week in week out. It’s not part of the wide player package. One week there a hit the next they’re a miss. It would be the same for anyone who replaces him.
So good, he’d take on the same player thrice!erm, you clearly never saw St. Paul Stephenson play.
Neil Smillie comes to mind tooerm, you clearly never saw St. Paul Stephenson play.
I did enjoy him beating his man 3 times and then not delivering. Lee Harvey around the same time I think. Neither of them had the Denny Mundee shuffle. Would love Kevin to work on that.erm, you clearly never saw St. Paul Stephenson play.
Given he’ll be fully amortised by next summer even £2m is positive for in year accounts and SCR.How would you feel if we got £2m for him?
Please give it a rest FFS.He's not going anywhere because I definitely saw him smile.
Because it’s not in his interests to?I wonder why he has not signed a new contract yet...
More money and more security would presumably make it so?Because it’s not in his interests to?
Not necessarily all about money. He might be homesick for Germany. Who knows. I for one think he’s wonderful, a key part of what we are building and although I’ve made my views clear that I felt he’d leave this summer if a suitable offer came in (which looks increasingly unlikely), I desperately hope he staysMore money and more security would presumably make it so?
That’s Dango’s role this season… apparently. So good, he’d take on the same player thrice!
If he is forcing himself out, he is doing his talking on the pitch. Unlike Wissa. At this point in the window, I’d only want to see him sold if it was for an insane fee, upwards of 80 mil, or if he was forcing himself out like Wissa. He’s looking great and this team has the chance to do something really special
I don’t claim to. It’s why I answered with a question mark. It’d be a reason to not sign if he thought his interests would be better served by staying on his current terms eg because a move next summer would be for enough money to make up for not getting the raise we offered. How do you know the facts
That was ably assisted by a very high line and poor defending, doubt they’ll get that sort of space to run behind very oftenWhat I found most encouraging was how Schade, Thiago and Ouattara were all working together, sometimes the movement was outstanding, as could be seen in some of the goals.

Absolute fun sponge. Well done. That was ably assisted by a very high line and poor defending, doubt they’ll get that sort of space to run behind very often
One of my favourite players at Hartlepool, couldn’t run but loved a cruyff turn (or seven) almost as much as his sun bed!!erm, you clearly never saw St. Paul Stephenson play.

I think you may be drifting into the World of fantasy, Pike.Exactly. Optionality. There’s absolutely no advantage to him in signing a new contract before this transfer window closes at the very least, just in case someone comes in with a silly bid and huge new pay offer. Come September 2nd, it’s a different ballgame. Hopefully he stays, gets a big pay rise for a new contract and scores enough goals for my 250/1 E/W top 4 PL goal scorer to come in… Ker-ching all round![]()
A new contract, pay rise with a release clause might work for him ? Otherwise we are in a difficult position as ideally we don't want him to enter the last two years of his deal especially at his ageExactly. Optionality. Clearly, evidenced by the result, but it does show an attacking/counter-attacking style that looks more coordinated than last season and that ought to cause more defensive chaos if the whole team are training on it, especially adding the overloads in support. That was ably assisted by a very high line and poor defending, doubt they’ll get that sort of space to run behind very often
As I understand a release clause will be mandatory from January 2027 on all new and extended contracts. Not sure if this a factor in Kevin's agents negotiation?A new contract, pay rise with a release clause might work for him ? It more likely that everything is on hold until the current transfer window is closed and completed; there’s then time between the windows to return to administration. Not sure if this a factor in Kevin's agents negotiation?
Jensen has a song and so does Schade.Has he got a song? I feel like he’s been such an important player over the years yet doesn’t get much recognition during the game from fans. I guess similar to Jensen…..
Never quite the same player after his severe head injury at Bradford.erm, you clearly never saw St. Paul Stephenson play.
