Does anyone subscribe to any of the FPL podcasts or other sites that discuss team set ups? I've just done a free trial on Lazy FPL to see what it's all about. So far the main standout is that of all of the "experts" on there not one of them has selected Thiago in their initial squad selections.

I have Thiago, Schade and Kayode currently. Are we just stupidly biased or are they just dumb?

Our initial fixture run is middle of the road. There's loads of players who will be good throughout the season, just at different times. Schade has been linked with a move which may have put people off, and we signed Anthony which may affect his minutes. Kayode might be a case of a great player not translating to a good fantasy pick

Thiago is a value call. João Pedro is 0.5m cheaper, which helps with squad construction, hence he’s popular. Kayode and Ajer are possible good value. Personally I’ve selected Sangare.

I've gone very top heavy...

Haaland, Pedro, Thiago, Bruno, Bryan... I will always pick Kelleher (or Flekken before him, or Raya...) as the GK, as we just get loads of points there, and I can set it and leave it.

I want Kayode, as I think he'll add assists and defcon this season.
And I need Igor...

So how do I get Schade, Sangare, or Dango in there?

I forgot (how?!) about Harry Wilson, not sure if i can get him in... maybe instead of Rogers but then i need a 3rd Chelsea player, cos 3 Chelsea and 3 f*lham are almost mandatory... maybe the keeper

(I'm not good enough to do it properly so i pick players i don't like to curse them or benefit from them etc etc)

It could well change with another bad start but the podcasts and sites I've listened to or read all seem to be recommending an early bench boost and then a free hit in week 3. Lets see how it goes. A couple of Cov goals will really f*** things up for me.

I'm still undecided about my final midfield slot...got Ndiaye at the moment as I cannot have Schade (too many Bees players already)...Everton have an OK start, so he should be good for a few weeks. Wanted Norgaard, but see he's injured? I'm pretty sure I'm sticking to my tactic of owning ALL the big in attack. Bruno, Bryan, Pedro, Haaland, IT...but I'm super surprised more people haven't picked Kelleher in goal...odd one for me.

And Kayode has very low ownership, so looking forward to those points.

Frank the Tank has 0.1% ownership, too But he's only on my bench.
