Pre-Booked Parking

Since we moved to the GTech I have been using the 'official' parking company and have pre-booked parking at either of the two schools they use. Because I'm lazy, I've recently been paying the higher rate for the school in Lionel Road. I've booked for the home friendly and it's gone up to £25! Does anyone on here use any other prepaid parking service? Ta very much

HOW MUCH?!!!

Thanks, I get that, and of course that's a possibility. I guess that I've been paying for the assurance of a definite place in a safe spot, but I'm now questioning whether the premium is worth it.

Also, have I missed something that means I’ve been very bad paying about £3 to park in Gunnersbury Park when my usual free spots are full?

Pre-Booked Parking

Exactly! More money than sense ... but I'd appreciate suggestions of other places to prebook that are cheaper.
PS: For two of us, it's still cheaper than coming by train from leafy Hertfordshire.

There is free parking around if you get there early but have you tried JustPark which allows you to prebook spaces nearby?

Wouldn’t saving at least £22 a game make the convenience of pre-booking be worth forgoing? That’s nearly as much as another season ticket!!!

For 3pm or earlier Saturday kick offs there’s never any problem parking for free and no shortage of spaces at Topps Tiles.

Visit www.yourparkingspace.com and see what the prices are and how far your tolerance for walking is. I don’t recommend hotel parking as it’s unsecured.

There’s always the multi-storey on the high street.

Thanks rebus. Just found this site and while not cheap cheap, a lot cheaper than the 'official' parking company. Cheers!

Next season I'm thinking of jumping on one of them Lime Bikes from Feltham, i could give one son a crossbar the other son jumping on the trick nuts ,

I sometimes park in the Ferry Quays / Premier Inn multi-storey off the High Street. You have to pay via the YourParkingSpace App but you can also pre-book and pay beforehand (like just before you drive in), which I’d recommend as there’s no signal inside! If you’re going to use any of the pubs around GP, it’s convenient, too. It’s per hour, £8-9 for a match, more if you stay longer.

Pre-Booked Parking

Try using the Just Park app, lots of people sell their driveways for games. I used to use it, but now park for free in the roads off Wellesley Rd by the Russian church just past The Pilot.

I used to use Ferry Quays in the early days at the Gtech before settling on the free on street parking just beyond Kew Retail Park (it gets my step count up at least) but apart from the really tight nature of the car park, which contributed to me getting a scrape on my car just days after buying it, you've also got to watch out for which parking bay you use. Most of the spaces are reserved for other companies and can't be used by Yourparkingspace.com customers.

Pre-Booked Parking

Agree that Ferry Quays is quite a horribly designed car park, really unclear inside where you can or cannot park. I previously used the m-s nearer to the Beehive, the sort of unfinished one, but one occasion it was closed due to flooding and haven't been back. Now found myself a decent driveway 20-25 minutes walk away for £7.50.

How much was it before?

I am taking a 99 year old gentleman to the friendly versus BM. Been a Bees fan since 1930's. The club has been fantastic regarding tickets but can't help with disabled parking. Our seats are in the East Stand. I am normally in the North Stand. Can anyone give me any ideas please? Dont want to be pushing wheelchair too far after an opetation. Thanks.

You can use - brentfordfcparking.co.uk

They have secure parking at Lionel School, Lionel Road North, £25.00, not cheap but only 10 mins walk from the ground.

Then there’s normally stewards with wheelchairs waiting as you approach the stadium down Lional Road from the A4
(Not sure if these have to be pre booked)

I hope you both enjoy the game.

You’re legitimately insane, with respect (no offence to insane people either).

You can park for free within a 12 min walk of the stadium. For every single game.

Pre-Booked Parking

Accessibility operate a car park system at the school at the end of the road the Globe is in.
Then a shuttle bus runs to the superstore, and if you contact the accessibility team in advance, they will meet you with a wheelchair before and after the game.
It’s £12 for disabled all in

Pre-Booked Parking

Does your passenger not have a blue badge? They can be used with any vehicle and you can park nearer the ground for free if you have one.

If you are approaching from the M4 side it's worth getting help with a push over the railway bridge if you are not that young yourself.

are you sure? I understood that all disabled parking has been snapped up by the club. Don't know for certain however.

Hi @ianbee we park in the road by this and it seems to work very well. Park in the school, small grey executive coach to Lionel Road by the Bees Super Store. Arrange for wheel chair from there. Hope you are all well. Have a great day. T.

I was thinking of being able to park with a blue badge in residents only or time restricted parking on the street, which covers most of the streets within a short walk to the stadium. For example, we've been parking recently in Layton Road, which is about 15 minutes walk to the North Stand. There are probably better options for the original poster who has seats in the East Stand.

Pre-Booked Parking

We were able to book in the Eco World car park opposite West Stand last season for a blue badge holder, is that still available?

Pre-Booked Parking

I have a Blue Badge and I park in the little side lane by Kew Bridge just by One over the Ait. It’s free to park in Hounslow on any resident bays and pay and display bays with no time limit. There’s a long residents parking section on the left-hand side as you face Costa Coffee and the other side of the road is all Pay by Phone so you can park on either side with a badge.

For the Unity Cup match I parked on Wellesley Road as I was in the east stand for that and thought it would be closer. As it turned out, they closed Capital interchange Way so I could’ve stayed in my usual space.

Pre-Booked Parking

I forgot to say the point is that you can pretty much park almost anywhere in Hounslow without paying if you have a blue badge.

Pre-Booked Parking

Still loads of on street parking around, just check on the forums first as some are hot spots for break ins.

Pre-Booked Parking

South mostly and near the Russian church but some parts North of it if you get there early enough.

Pre-Booked Parking

Not really if you're coming from West and have to get over the god awful Chiswick roundabout (twice).
It’s not that god awful. And you can join east of the roundabout, use the flyover and avoid it entirely.

I had to use it quite a lot recently as I've had to drop my daughter off at the stadium and park up - worse day it took me an hour to drive back to the stadium.

Looks like OfficialBrentfordFCparking now part of JustPark
They have only just added the Our Lady and St John School parking - £15 - but it's now Blue Badge only. No sign of Lionel Road School being available.

They’re having building work done at Lionel Road Primary which has reduced the number of spaces available. The work is expected to be completed by December, then it will return to full capacity.

Vantage office block was showing last week, don’t see it on the app now though
