Exactly this. I would add model person in whatever profession. His class in all respects made me proud as a Bees fan.Legend and stalwart of this club. From Non-league to Premier League and a model pro for all youngsters. Hope we bring him back as a youth coach. Good deal for all parties.
Such a good point actually, we couldn't have produced a lot those defining performances without having a rock to rely on at the back.Class act, set the expectation for us all - that we had nothing to fear from the Premier League. And gave us confidence for many seasons.
Thank you Ethan![]()
... you're right...it's about succession...EP epitomises everything that BFC is ...Schuster has very big boots to fill... I'm sure he will.Wow. Didn’t think there was any smoke there. Always impeccable business imo to make money off of players even past their primes. Can’t help but be excited to see the way paved for Schuster, Ji-Soo, and/or those on loan to see real minutes. I imagine we see Schuster start tomorrow surely then.
He's 6'3 and probably still growing... you're right...it's about succession...EP epitomises everything that BFC is ...Schuster has very big boots to fill... I'm sure he will.
Or Schuster is on his way. Given PGs latest successful signing I can’t wait to see Schuster: he’ll walk on water!!Agree with everything said about such a legend. His going now must mean that SVDB cannot be out for too long.
Plus JDSEcho just about everything said so far.
A top pro, always played with a smile on his face and a great example to everyone who played with him. Brilliant defender who at his peak, was undroppable. Great contract for him and deal for us, though.
A legend for BFC and I wish him the best. Sad about this, as one of the few 'Griffin Park' gang left. Just Rico, Mathias and Vitaly remain now, I think.
Don't think Vita ever played at GP.Echo just about everything said so far.

JDS missing from the list!Don't think Vita ever played at GP.
Balcombe would be the other I think.
Miss Isabella said JDS alreadyJDS missing from the list!
Vitality didn't play at GP but would be on the "players left from the promotion side" list.
I do not believe that anyone has ever said he is, but hopefullyy in a few years maybe.I've only seen him play once, so not a great deal to go off, but he's not a better defender then Pinnock (yet!)
Vita could probably "do a job" in an emergency.Echoing the above, Ethan was a great signing and played a vital role in enabling us to stay in the division early on. He fully deserves a move that will give him more game time. However, I feel it leaves us too light in the centre back positions. Another injury and it would presumably see us relying on Schuster, who the RB Salzburg fans (judging by various comments on their forum) seem to think isn't yet ready for the Premier League.
Seems like he played more games than that216 appearances, 12 goals and 7 assists![]()

Including the assist for our first ever PL goal216 appearances, 12 goals and 7 assists![]()
And with Ben Mee in that season we also finished 9th and Ethan scored winner against City.Easiest pick Thomas Frank had to make for at least 4 or 5 seasons. That partnership with Pontus was ledgendary. Nothing but thanks and good luck from me.
He wouldn’t have playedGood luck Big Eth. I was looking forward to watching you tomorrow!
