I think this is the key point. We shouldn't burden him with too many expectations early on. It’ll be a marker for him because PL attackers will be much sharper on him in those situations. All in all, though, it was a good first introduction to English football and he didn’t look out of place. I guess that’s why we were confident in letting Pinnock move.

Totally agree with your analysis but the foul only became necessary because he miscontrolled the ball so there was definitely an error by him.
